Joining FaZe Clan
October 9, 2018
Methodz will join FaZe Clan, the organization confirmed on Monday.
OpTic's five-man roster reveal that curiously left out Methodz all but confirmed the slayer's departure from the team, wiping the slate clean from a disastrous finish to the World War II season. Still Methodz managed to fall on his two feet, joining a FaZe Clan lineup that was arguably one of the bigger surprises throughout last season. A strong AR presence such as Methodz is exactly what FaZe Clan was missing towards the end of last season, and while the roster isn't as star-studded as others to come together for Black Ops 4, it certainly has plenty of promise.

Attach was quiet in a 3-1 loss to Team Kaliber on Championship Sunday of the 2018 Call of Duty World League Championships, finishing in 3rd place after the loss.
Attach wasn't able to find much success this series, despite its importance. Playing his usual role of anchor, Attach was able to hold his team's spawns together during teamfights. FaZe Clan, however, needed another slayer to step up to help lock down a streaking Team Kaliber. Rounds like Round 2 Search & Destroy and Round 5 Search & Destroy were lost by FaZe Clan due to only a handful of missed kills. Outside of slaying, Attach also struggled to keep track of players and defend flanks, such as in Round 2 Search & Destroy.
Whiffs Scorestreak advantages

Priestah tried to take control in a 3-1 loss to Team Kaliber on Championship Sunday of the 2018 Call of Duty World League Championships, landing a solid 3rd place finish.
Priestah gave a very strong performance that he was unable to capitalize on in key moments. While Priestah was solid for most of the series, his biggest performance came in Round 2 Search & Destroy on Sainte Maire Du Mont. In Game 8, Priestah was able to pull off a bold flank to score a double kill and a bomb defuse that awarded him his full suite of Scorestreaks. However, across the next three games, Priestah was unable to use his Scorestreaks effectively. This was because FaZe Clan relied too heavily on Priestah's streaks to get kills, leaving their flanks open to attack, such as in Game 9. This small mistake would cost FaZe Clan the map, and later the series.

Replays provided steady slaying in a 3-1 loss to Team Kaliber on Championship Sunday of the 2018 Call of Duty World League Championships, placing in 3rd place for the tournament.
Replays didn't come out of his shell, as he did in previous series this weekend, but he was able to land consistent kills. In respawn rounds, like Round 1 Hardpoint on Ardennes Forest, Replays was able to hold spawns against Team Kaliber while locking down objectives. During the second set of rotations, for example, Replays was able to land a triple kill to secure spawn rotations to the Bunker Hardpoint. Replays, however, was unable to keep up with Team Kaliber in the second half of the series as Replays slaying, and this his defense, slowed down.
Roams to lock lanes

ZooMa got cut down in a 3-1 loss to Team Kaliber, getting knocked out of the tournament and placing 3rd, on Championship Sunday of the 2018 Call of Duty World League Championship.
ZooMa ran a gauntlet through the Losers Bracket, but it all ended when he went up against Team Kaliber. FaZe Clan's scrappy and chaotic playstyle was a poor fit against Team Kaliber's similar playstyle, especially as ZooMa's opponents began to warm up. Round 1 Hardpoint was ZooMa's most successful round as he was able shutdown Team Kaliber's roaming with his flanks. Round 3 Capture the Flag unfolded in a similar fashion as ZooMa was able to rush through lanes to cause problems for his opponents and creating an opening for his team. But once Team Kaliber focused their shots, ZooMa couldn't roam freely anymore.
