Struggled with inconsistencies
July 7, 2018
ZooMa struggled with inconsistencies quite a bit in the 3-2 win over Team Kaliber on Day 3, Week 4 of CWL Global Pro League Stage 2.
ANALYSIS
ZooMa had a hot start to open Round 1 Hardpoint, as he was the key man for FaZe in the back and forth round. The round stayed close - FaZe lost 250-217 - but ZooMa faltered a bit as the round went on, and he ended the round with a 27/28 KD for it. Round 2 Search & Destroy was a similar story - he came out of the gate flying, but he ended up fading down the stretch. This time, however, Priestah picked him up and they won the round in 11 games. Round 3 Capture the Flag was the most lopsided of any round, as they won 7-2. They dominated that one from the get-go, and ZooMa's 22 kills and one flag cap were an important part of that. Round 4 Hardpoint looked like an easy FaZe win, as they led 150-70 and were dominating the kill feed, but they blew the lead to lose 250-202. ZooMa struggled to finish that one off, going 27/31 in the loss. He came to play in Round 5 Search & Destroy though, as he, Priestah, and Attach were a potent three-man attack that led them to a 6-4 win.
Strong respawn play in win
July 7, 2018
Replays struggled in Search & Destroy, but made up for it with his respawn rounds in the 3-2 win over Team Kaliber on Day 3, Week 4 of CWL Global Pro League Stage 2.
ANALYSIS
Replays two worst rounds were the two Search & Destroy rounds. Round 2 and Round 5 Search & Destroy saw him struggle to consistently slay, as he ended up falling back into a reserve role in both. His respawn rounds were much more solid, however. He played well in Round 1 Hardpoint despite the loss. His 27/24 KD was the only positive KD for any FaZe member, and he also led them in Hardpoint time with 1:17. They lost 250-217, but he helped keep them in striking distance. Round 3 Capture the Flag was a blowout in FaZe's way, as they won 7-2 and were never really threatened by Team Kaliber. During the round, he was barely involved in gunfights (he had a 12/11 KD in the round) but he led his team in flag caps with three. He was a constant threat despite not doing much slaying - his teammates took care of that aspect. He was good in the round, just in an objective-based way. Round 4 Hardpoint was another tough Hardpoint loss, as they lost 250-202 after leading 150-70. Despite the collapse, Replays was solid. His 29/25 KD ratio was the only positive one on the team, and he added 58 seconds on the objective to that end. He was certainly good, but the strong games from Accuracy and Kenny overcame it.
Turned it on after slow start
July 7, 2018
Priestah did not start the match well, but he was on fire once he found his groove in the 3-2 win over Team Kaliber on Day 3, Week 4 of CWL Global Pro League Stage 2.
ANALYSIS
Priestah had a really slow start to this match, struggling through Round 1 Hardpoint (he went 24/31 in the 250-217 loss) and most of Round 2 Search & Destroy. He picked it up for the last two games of the round, netting the final kill in both game ten and eleven to complete their mini-comeback. Round 3 Capture the Flag was the only real blowout of the match, and it went in FaZe's way. They won 7-2, dominating the round from start to finish, and Priestah played a role in that. He led the lobby with 25 kills and had two flag caps on top of it. He was stellar both offensively and defensively, and it helped FaZe completely dominate both halves of the round. Round 4 Hardpoint saw FaZe run out to a 150-70 lead before losing 250-202. Priestah was their best player joint-leading the team with 31 kills and leading the team in Hardpoint time by a wide margin (1:34). He fought valiantly against the comeback, but Team Kaliber were too strong to be stopped. Round 5 Search & Destroy saw Priestah, Attach, and ZooMa all play excellently, as the trio led them to a win in 10 games.
Mostly strong play in win
July 7, 2018
Attach put in a very nice performance in the 3-2 win over Team Kaliber on Day 3, Week 4 of CWL Global Pro League Stage 2.
ANALYSIS
Attach's Round 1 Hardpoint was not incredible - he finished the round 27/27 with 1:13 on the objective - but he really turned it on late. He had an excellent run to keep them alive in the late stages of the round, though he could not bring them back as they lost 250-217. He was more consistent in their Round 2 Search & Destroy win, as he paced them from beginning to end in the 6-5 win. His consistency was key, and his teammates varied in their effectiveness around him. Round 3 Capture the Flag was a blowout - FaZe Clan won 7-2, and they were in control of the round almost immediately. Attach was incredible, going 24/11 with one of his team's flag caps. FaZe blew a 150-70 lead in Round 4 Hardpoint and ended up losing 250-202. Attach was good early and faded late, and was settled with a 31/32 KD for his efforts. They made up for it with a ten game win in Round 5 Search & Destroy, and Attach played a key role in it. He, ZooMa, and Priestah were a three-headed monster for FaZe Clan, and it was just enough to get them a win to finish off the day.
Strong performance throughout sweep
July 6, 2018
ZooMa was excellent in each round of the sweep win over Echo Fox on Day 2, Week 4 of CWL Global Pro League Stage 2.
ANALYSIS
ZooMa got off to a hot start, as he and Attach paced FaZe Clan to their early 70 point lead in Round 1 Hardpoint. The duo paced FaZe for the rest of the round as well, and ZooMa ended up with a lobby-leading 28 kills. He also added a whopping 1:58 on the objective (also a lobby-leading number), putting together an impressive two-way performance. He was one of the key contributors to the comeback win in Round 2 Search & Destroy. They went down 5-3, but he and Attach paced them to an 11-game win. ZooMa had the final kill in that decisive Game 11, finishing off a solid round. Round 3 Capture the Flag saw him get both of their flag caps, and net a solid 19 kills in the round. He put together a solid two-way game again, playing staunch defense and aggressive offense.
