Realigns with Next Threat
January 24, 2018
Mochila will play for Next Threat as the team competes in the CWL North American National Circuit.
Mochila was the last player to sign on with Next Threat, as the roster had previously planned to acquire Maux, only for the slayer to renig on the deal and return to Ghost Gaming. Mochila has been bounced between a number of teams this year, from Underworld Esports, to Next Threat (prior to the organizational shut down) and then alongside MiRx on two separate other lineups.
Announced alongside Next Threat
January 24, 2018
Blazt will join Next Threat, his new teammate Mochila announced on Monday.
Blazt will move on from Enigma6 to Next Threat, joining his former teammate Censor on his returning organization. Blazt was one of the younger players initially acquired by Enigma6 to begin Call of Duty: World War II, but it's been a tumultuous year for the slayer since. Blazt clearly represents the most promising player on the roster, especially since Maux denied an opportunity to join the team, instead opting to re-sign with Ghost Gaming. As such, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Blazt on another team, should this version of Next Threat fail to make much noise in the CWL North American National Circuit.
Reactivates Next Threat organization
January 24, 2018
Censor re-announced Next Threat as an organization, and the new roster will compete in the upcoming CWL North American National Ciruit.
After being released from Enigma6 following a failed attempt at qualifying for Stage 1 of the CWL Pro League, Censor will go back to the team he formed to begin Call of Duty: World War II. Alongside Nagafen, Blaztful and Mochila, this roster could very well be in contention for a spot in CWL Stage 2 should things align their way.
Teams up once again with Censor
January 24, 2018
Nagafen will join Next Threat as the team prepares for CWL North American National Circuit, his teammate Mochila announced Monday.
Nagafen had been rumored to join Next Threat immediately after being released from compLexity Gaming. Ironically, Nagafen's release helped set the stage for the recreation of Next Threat, as Censor's former Enigma6 teammate, Dashy, who joined compLexity Gaming shortly after CWL New Orleans, likely pushed the whole abbreviated Rostermania into session, prompting Censor to be released and subsequently begin again with Next Threat. While this roster has some capable players, it remains to be seen whether they will be able to compete in the loaded CWL North American circuit.
Expected to leave Next Threat
December 24, 2017
Methodz is expected to leave Next Threat for another team prior to CWL New Orleans multiple sources have reported.
It seems like a foregone conclusion Methodz will be on another team by CWL New Orleans, as the leader of Next Threat, Censor, announced the team would seemingly dissolve thanks to multiple players seeking better options. Methodz was probably the biggest winner during Next Threat's surprise run through the open bracket at CWL Dallas, confirming what many pro players had already suggested in that the young player was an excellent slaying presence. While we don't want to speculate how he might perform on another team, it feels likely that Methodz will be a name to watch for the majority of the Call of Duty: World War II season.
