Faded a little in win
July 28, 2018
Zed started strong but faded a little at the end of the sweep win over OpTic Gaming on Day 2 of the CWL Global Pro League Stage 2 Playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Zed's best rounds were the first two rounds of this sweep win. He went off in Round 1 Hardpoint, netting a 31/22 KD and 1:08 on the objective. He, and the rest of his team, simply outslayed OpTic Gaming, and it made the round a rather easy one. Round 2 Search & Destroy was closer, as they won in ten games. Zed was good throughout it, but he really turned up late in the round, winning Games 8 and 9 to put them within one game of a win. Round 3 Capture the Flag saw them lead 1-0 for the vast majority, going up 2-0 with 30 seconds left. Zed struggled to do much (14/18 KD), but he did have that second flag cap to ice the sweep.
Strong respawn in sweep win
July 28, 2018
wuskin's best rounds were the respawn rounds of the sweep win over OpTic Gaming on Day 2 of the CWL Global Pro League Stage 2 Playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Round 2 Search & Destroy saw wuskin play okay, putting in an average slowing behind Alexx and Zed - he was the third wheel, and he helped get them a win, but he was not a superstar. He was very good in the two respawn rounds, as he went 23/20 with 1:11 on the objective in the win. He was a big part of turning a 160-100 deficit into a 220-190 lead, and eventually a win. His balanced performance, between quality slaying and a strong objective time, made him a key depth piece. Round 3 Capture the Flag was his best round. He led the lobby with 26 kills, putting in a strong performance in each half. His slaying was a big part of their defense, as they pitched a shutout to win the round.
Stuck to the objective in the win
July 28, 2018
Seany consistently stayed on the objective in the sweep win over OpTic Gaming on Day 2 of the CWL Global Pro League Stage 2 Playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Seany was an objective-based performer in the win. He had a below 1.00 KD in each of the respawn rounds (23/26 in Round 1 Hardpoint, and 18/19 in Round 3 Capture the Flag), and he was invisible in Round 2 Search & Destroy. Despite his myriad of slaying woes, he did contribute quite a bit on the objective. He had a whopping 1:47 on the objective in Round 1 Hardpoint and had the first flag cap in Round 3 Capture the Flag. Seany did not slay well, but his strong objective play made him a contributor regardless.
Consistently strong in win
July 28, 2018
Alexx was great in each round of the sweep win over OpTic Gaming on Day 2 of the CWL Global Pro League Stage 2 Playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Alexx was their most consistent player in this win. He was a constant force of slaying in each of the three rounds, leading them with 35 kills in Round 1 Hardpoint, and coming in second in kills with 24 in Round 3 Capture the Flag. He led them from their 160-100 deficit in the first round, opening up the map for his teammates on more than on occasion. The third round saw them lead the whole time, and Alexx's strong slaying was a big part of their defense (that pitched a shutout). He was their best player in Round 2 Search & Destroy, pacing them and even getting the final two games in Game 10 to win the round.
A few good rounds in loss
July 27, 2018
Zed had a few good and a few bad rounds in the 3-1 loss to Team Kaliber on day 1 of the CWL Global Pro League Stage 2 Playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Zed's first round was rife with inconsistent play. Round 1 Hardpoint saw him never able to consistently slay with Team Kaliber, as he went 25/34 in the loss. Round 2 Search & Destroy saw him put together the best round of anyone on his team, but they were still blown out by Team Kaliber, losing 6-2. He was fine, but he had no support. Round 3 Capture the Flag was his first really good round, as he notched 30 kills and a flag cap in the 3-2 win. Their only win on the round was won on the back on an excellent defensive display that saw UNILAD shut put Team Kaliber from the end of the first half, all the way through the second half. He was a big part of that defensive effort. Round 4 Hardpoint saw Zed play rather well, going 20/18 with 58 seconds on the objective, leading his team in both kills and Hardpoint time. They were totally outclassed, though, and were blown out in the loss.
