Slow start in the split

k0nfig posted a 50/43 KD on Wednesday in the 1-1 split against NRG in Week 6 of ESL Pro League Season 7.
ANALYSIS
A slow start to the series on Mirage saw NRG take the pistol and the following anti-ecos to take the 3-0 lead. However, k0nfig and co. rallied back to equalize the score 3-3 as k0nfig grabbed the fourth straight with a triple kill using the AWP to secure the A-bombsite for the T-side. k0nfig helped string together two more rounds to take the 6-3 lead before NRG answered back with four to take the 7-6 lead. k0nfig got right back in the first half to help secure the last round, but NRG returned to edged the first half for an 8-7 lead. Unfortunately, NRG dominated the second half to win eight straight as k0nfig and no response in the 16-7 loss. The series then landed on Inferno where NRG controlled the first half on the T-side for a 10-5 lead going into the second. Despite the slow start in the second half, k0nfig pressed on to win eleven rounds to help his team earn the series split, thanks to his team-leading 29/23 KD and 104.3 ADR.

ShahZaM went 32/39 on Wednesday in a 1-1 split against NRG in Week 6 of ESL Pro League Season 7.
ANALYSIS
The series began with NRG claiming the 3-0 lead on Mirage but ShahZaM fired back to pick up four in a row, thanks to his Round 8 quad kill on middle to secure the streak and the three-round lead. However, NRG contested to regain the lead, handing ShahZaM and co. an 8-7 deficit going into the second. The second half was wall NRG on the T-side to win eight straight as ShahZaM had nothing to show in the 16-7 loss. Inferno kicked off the second map where NRG picked up three straight once again, but ShahZaM came out on top in his buy round to snipe down three in mid to secure the round. From there, a few rounds went his way with a tattered economy but only five would be claimed to go into the second half. NRG looked to secure the sweep but ShahZaM kept his composure on the T-side to contribute to the elven rounds needed to take the series split, posting a team-low 16/22 KD and 49.6 ADR.
Secures Inferno in the split

ANALYSIS
gade had a slow start on Mirage that saw NRG take a 3-0 lead on the CT-side, however, gade came up with a huge with a triple kill in a 3-vs-3 situation to secure OpTic's first round of the half. From there, gade helped tack on five more to take a 6-3 lead but NRG came right back with four straight for the 7-6 lead. gade had enough for one more round in the first half as NRG got the last round for an 8-7 lead, and continued to press on in the second half to win eight straight for the 16-7 win. Down 1-0 in the series, gade once again faced a 3-0 start to NRG on Inferno as his CT-side struggled to hold off NRG for a 10-5 deficit. However, NRG continued through the second half but a huge 11-round comeback helped by gade as the team secured the series split with a 16-14 win.

daps went 40/30 on Wednesday in a 1-1 split against OpTic Gaming in Week 6 of ESL Pro League Season 7.
ANALYSIS
daps started the series on the lighter side of things with a 3-0 start on the CT-side of Mirage. Although OpTic came right back to pick up six straight for the three-round lead, NRG were able to string together four rounds of their own as daps held the A-bombsite for the 7-6 lead. OpTic picked up one more but daps and co. came out on top with an 8-7 lead and carried their momentum into the second half to win eight straight for the 16-7 series lead. daps continued his reign on Inferno to earn three straight for the T-side in another 3-0 start, including his 1-vs-2 clutch in the pistol. OpTic contested early but the half remained to NRG for a healthy 10-5 lead. Riding on momentum, daps helped secure the last pistol for NRG and the following anti-ecos but OpTic's Green Wall prove effect to comeback with eleven rounds against to edge 16-14 for the split.

CeRq earned a 40/34 KD on Wednesday in the 1-1 split against OpTic Gaming in Week 6 od ESL Pro League Season 7.
ANALYSIS
CeRq's series began on Mirage where his defense through middle served for a 3-0 lead early. In Round 4, OpTic came out on top of their buy round that strung together six rounds for the three-round lead for the Green Wall. Through their reset economy, CeRq got back on the AWP to help his team win four straight to take the 7-6 lead. OpTic retaliated with one of their own but the 8-7 lead came out in CeRq's favor. The second half was all CeRq on the AWP to rip through the Green Wall for eight straight to take the series lead 16-7. The series then shifted to Inferno where CeRq gained another pistol and a pair of anti-eco wins for a 3-0 start on the T-side. OpTic traded rounds but CeRq remained red-hot on the AWP to help take the 10-5 lead going into the second. Another smooth start looked to seal the deal for CeRq but OpTic came right back to equalize the series with eleven rounds against for the 16-14 win.

nahtE picked up a 43/33 KD on Wednesday in a 1-1 split against OpTic Gaming in Week 6 of ESL Pro League Season 7.
ANALYSIS
The first half of Mirage saw nahtE and his men earn the pistol and the following anti-ecos before OpTic rallied back to secure six straight for the 6-3 lead. nahtE remained red-hot on the frag as he picked up several holds and retakes through the first half to edge the first half with an 8-7 score. He then pressed on through the second have to win eight straight, leading the team with a 24/13 KD and 108.0 ADR in the 16-7 win. A smooth start on Inferno gave NRG majority control on the T-side where nahtE extended the lead 9-5 coming out on top of a 1-vs-3 post-plant situation, which led to the 10-5 half. A rather slow start from nahtE, despite winning three straight to open the second half, began to turn sour as OpTic came back with eleven rounds to secure the split with a 16-14 win on Inferno.
Secures the sweep on Inferno

Nifty posted a firm 40/29 KD on Tuesday in a 2-0 sweep over NRG in Week 6 of ESL Pro League Season 7.
ANALYSIS
Nifty started the week leading his team through a contested beginning on Train after taking the 3-0 lead on the CT-side. Eventually, his team managed to break the economy of NRG which allowed how him and his squad to take the first half 10-5. Nifty continued to press on into the second half, winning six straight to take the series lead. However, Nifty got a taste of his own medicine at the start of Inferno as he was faced with a 6-0 deficit right from the beginning. Only four rounds were claimed on his T-side as he faced a huge deficit going into the second half, however, when the sides switched so did the momentum. Nifty found the momentum needed to pick up eleven straight to reach match point, but NRG contested with four of their own to force overtime. Nifty started the overtime rounds with two straight before NRG responded with two over their own, but Renegades outlasted NRG to secure the last two for the series sweep.

jks gathered a 43/32 KD on Tuesday in a 2-0 sweep over NRG in Week 6 of ESL Pro League Season 7.
ANALYSIS
jks began his week on Train where the first half saw a lighting performance from his CT-side to help hold the line for 10 rounds in the first half. With a 10-5 lead, jks continued to press on in the second half, securing Round 19 with a quad kill on the B-bombsite entry and post-plant hold. He eventually secured the sixth straight round for Renegades with his double kill on the A-bombsite in the 2-vs-2 to secure the 16-5 win. The series landed on Inferno where jks saw a tough first half on the T-side as NRG picked up six straight right from the start. NRG continued through the first half to claim the 11-4 lead going into the second as jks finally found his groove to help win eleven straight to reach match point, however, NRG contested to force the overtime rounds. Jks remained composed through the overtime rounds to pick up two round in each half for the 19-17 win, posting a 20/21 KD and 66.2 ADR.

AZR picked up a 40/37 KD on Tuesday in a 2-0 series sweep over NRG in Week 6 of ESL Pro League Season 7.
ANALYSIS
The week began on Train where AZR led his team through both halves with a 22/11 KD and a 111.1 ADR to claim the series lead 16-5 in the opener. However, NRG came to play on Inferno as AZR's offensive first half saw a 6-0 deficit right out of the gates. A few rounds would go the way for AZR but it wasn't enough the reduce the deficit in the 11-4 half for NRG. AZR's CT-side was much better has he contributed to 11 straight to reach match point. Although NRG came rallying back to pick up four straight to secure the overtime rounds, AZR, and co. went on to pick up tow round in each of the overtime halves to secure the 2-0 sweep, despite posting a team-low 18/26 KD and 58.2 ADR.
Falls short on Inferno

FugLy posted a 29/43 KD on Tuesday in a 2-0 loss to Renegades in Week 6 of ESL Pro League Season 7.
ANALYSIS
FugLy has seen better starts in weeks prior as his team took an uncharacteristic first half against Renegades with only five rounds on the T-side of Train. Things didn't get any better for him in the second half as he was unable to claim a single round in the six rounds Renegades won to take the series lead. However, the series landed on Inferno where FugLy found his groove on the CT-side to pick up six straight of their own before his opponents responded. Taking the 11-4 lead at the half quickly spiraled out of control in the second as FugLy could not get past the Renegades defense, who went on to pick up eleven straight to reach match point. FugLy managed to help his team come out on top of their buy round and press on to force overtime. Unfortunately, the overtime rounds weren't enough to seal the series split, which resulted in a sweep by Renegades in the 19-17 win.
