Scattered moments in loss
July 6, 2018
oskar tallied a 53/47 KD in mousesports' 2-0 loss to ENCE on Wednesday that eliminated them from ESL Cologne.
oskar did his best to try and push mouz to a win in this game, racking up the second-highest ADR in the entire lobby. Throughout the series, he had some nice triple kills that gave mouz hope at a win, especially on Inferno, but they just fell short. They got the closest in that Game 1 on Inferno where things moved into overtime and they lost 19-17. That seemed to break them a bit since they only managed 12 rounds in the Game 2 loss on Mirage. After their initial 16-8 win over Gambit on Tuesday, mouz have had quite the rough road and it's resulted in their elimination from the tournament.
Will miss Belo Horizonte
June 7, 2018
oskar will be absent for the upcoming event, the German organization has announced.
The 26-year-old will miss Belo Horizonte due to "personal reasons" mousesports have not yet disclosed. It comes at a critical time, as the team will be without their most consistent offline player throughout 2018, averaging a +1 rating in each event attended this year. Taking his spot will be North American star n0thing, as oskar's absence will be sorely missed by fans and organization alike for the tournament set to kick off June 13, with $200,000 on the line.
Unable to edge Mirage in loss
May 20, 2018
oskar posted a 35/41 KD on Friday in a 2-0 loss to Team Liquid in the quarterfinals at ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals in Dallas.
oskar has had a rather uncharacteristic tournament in the likes of closing rounds and picking up more kills; however, this time around his composure in the smooth 3-0 start got mouz off on the right foot. Despite Liquid rallying back and taking control for a 9-6 half, oskar once more helped mouz win the pistol and the following anti-ecos to tie the game, before winning their gun round to take the 10-9 lead in the second half. Although oskar found himself trailing once more but at map point after an affair of rounds, he helped his team force the overtime rounds. Unfortunately, oskar couldn't serve more in the 22-20 loss in double overtime as Liquid took the series lead. Dust2 was Liquid's pick as oskar was nowhere to be found on the server with his 6/14 KD and 51.2 ADR in the 16-4 loss.
No second chance in OT
April 23, 2018
oskar posted a 45/46 KD on Saturday in a 2-0 loss to Natus Vincere in the quarterfinals at DreamHack Masters Marseille.
The series began on the rough sides of things as oskar was too busy trying to fight back through the deficit, thanks to his Round 7 double kill to deny the defuse, where he then fell short with a 12-3 deficit at the half. A little more of oskar's defensive presence came out in the second half but it wasn't enough to rattle Na'Vi out of their lead for a 16-9 loss. The series moved on to Inferno where the two sides had a tight battle through the first half but Na'Vi got away in the second half and reached match point. Against all odds, oskar kept the mouz dreams alive by sniping down four to force overtime. Although the overtime rounds saw Na'Vi win three straight, oskar again tallied some huge snipes to make things interesting before ultimately falling in a 19-16 series loss.
Takes tough loss in opener
December 17, 2017
oskar posted a 14/18 KD on Friday in the 16-4 loss to OpTic Gaming at the ECS Season 4 Finals.
oskar struggled in the first half of Mirage as his offense couldn't find a gap past the Green Wall defense. Despite several rounds earning the bomb plant, the team failed on the post-plant to earn more rounds. oskar tried to get the entry-kills needed once the economy was strong enough for an AWP but only a couple of rounds would go his way. OpTic dominated the first half as oskar tallied the last round won in the first half for mouz by getting a triple-kill on the B-bombsite post-plant. The second half wasn't any better as oskar couldn't find the pixels to stop OpTic's aggressive offense. Although oskar managed to help get one round on the board, it didn't shake OpTic who took the dominating win.
Shuts out Gambit on Train
December 3, 2017
oskar went 45/20 on Sunday in a 2-0 semifinal win over Gambit at DreamHack Open Winter.
Nuke kicked off the best-of-three semifinal match with oskar picking up the pistol round win. Gambit returned the favor an evened the score but oskar took the matter into his own hands and ripped through the defense to pick up the 4-1 lead. Keeping his distance in term of the lead, oskar was consistent in his entry-kills as well as making sure the economics of Gambit was weak. With a 10-5 lead going into the second half, oskar finally got the defense on the board by stopping the B-bombsite push and the three-round streak. The remainder of the half was all defense as oskar picked up the AWP to close Nuke 16-9, posting a 19/14 KD and 92.2 ADR. Game 2 of Train resulted in a slashing by the defense of oskar with his Round 5 triple kill to win the 2-vs-2. He then closed out the half 14-1 with a quad kill hold on the A-bombsite with the AWP. In the second half, oskar upgraded his pistol in the second pistol round to pick three kills to earn map point. oskar took Game 2 with a team-leading 26/6 KD and an impressive 152.4 ADR in the 16-1 win.
Shutting down the offense
December 3, 2017
oskar earned a 39/24 KD on Saturday in the 2-0 sweep over BIG Gaming at DreamHack Open Winter.
The series started on Overpass with oskar ruling the defense early on with the pistol round win followed by an anti-eco. He then picked up the 3-0 lead with a quad kill on the A-bombsite hold but BIG returned to pick up their first of the half. Oskar continued to hound the offense of BIG with a 7-1 lead, thanks to his triple kill on the A-bombsite to enable the retake. Remaining composed and never missing a beat, oskar picked up the 11-4 lead with the AWP going into the second. However, BIG Gaming got the ball rolling in the second half with a stout defense but oskar got the AWP once again and contributed to five rounds won, including his 1-vs-1 post-plant hold on the B-bombsite to secure the 16-9 win. Game 2 of Mirage, oskar held off the offense of BIG in rather dominating form with a 14-1 lead at the half. Although BIG picked up two in the second half start, oskar opened up the A-bombsite and helped the mid-control for a 16-3 sweep, posting a 91.4 ADR along the way.
Late on the come back
December 2, 2017
oskar rallied for an 11/19 KD on Friday in a 16-12 loss to Team EnVyUs at DreamHack Open Winter.
oskar took a turn for the worst in the first half on the defense of Train as he could not find the pixels to connect to win more than two rounds. A 13-2 deficit going into the second-half was a tall task for oskar, but he did get the start needed. The offense was quick to get into the A-bombsite early as oskar picked up several entry-kills along the way. After exploiting the A-bombsite and picking up a couple of post-plant wins, oskar contributed to the five-round comeback to cut the lead by six-rounds. However, EnVyUs were on their toes and shut down the B-bombsite push to take the 14-8 lead. A weak economy was enough for oskar to squeeze out four more rounds before EnVyUs took Train 16-12 as he posted a team-low 51.0 ADR.
Secures win over LDLC
October 20, 2017
oskar posted a 17/10 KD on Day 1 of DreamHack Open Denver with a win over Team LDLC 16-4.
oskar would open the series on the offense, opening up the bombsite to take a solid 5-0 lead early on Nuke. He would then continue to punish LDLC, always there to take the round or get the entry kill. LDLC would pick up a few rounds, but not enough to shake oskar in the first half with an 11-4 lead. In the second half, oskar would still continue to dominate the field with his firm defensive holds, including his Round 19 triple kill on the A-bombsite to earn map-point advantage. oskar would then close out the series on Nuke with a 16-4 win, posting a 99.8 ADR.
Shutting down NiP in Game 1
October 8, 2017
oksar sniped down a 34/28 KD on Thursday in a 1-1 split with Ninjas in Pyjamas in ESL Pro League Season 6.
oskar had a brilliant showing on the defense of Inferno carrying out a 5-0 lead early on. He then contributed to the massive lead in Round 6 by sniping down three on the B-bombsite defense. He continued to have a stronghold in Game 1 with a 13-2 lead going into the second. The second half was quick as he picked up several opening kills on the B-bombsite execute to take Inferno 16-2. However, the momentum was halted in Game 2 as NiP shut down the offense for a massive 11-4 lead. Unable to get more frags for his team, oskar posted a 10/18 KD and a 63.1 ADR in Game 2 with only two rounds won in the second half for a 16-6 Nuke loss.
Leading in frags despite loss
September 2, 2017
oksar led the way with a 23/17 KD on Day 1 of DreamHack Masters Malmo with a 16-9 loss to FaZe Clan.
Finally, after giving up the first four rounds on Mirage, oskar came up big with a triple entry kill in Round 5 on the B-bombsite with the AWP to claim the first round for mouz. In the following round, oskar saved the round on a 1-vs-2 post-plant situation with a double kill with the AWP to secure the round 4-2. A few rounds later, oskar managed to tie the game up with a triple entry kill into the A-bombsite with the AWP to tie the game 4-4. oskar had much entry-kills despite only winning six rounds in the first half 9-6 deficit. oskar picked up a double kill hold to secure the 2-0 start for mouz in the second half. After the 2-0 start, oskar had a hard time holding off the offense of FaZe with a dismal economy which allowed FaZe to aggressively take control of the game for the 16-9 win.
Consistent in split
August 26, 2017
oskar posted a 53/35 KD on Wednesday in a 1-1 split against FaZe Clan in ESL Pro League Season 6.
oskar started Cache with a bomb plant on the A-bombsite and followed up with a pistol round win getting the final frag. In Round 5, oskar planted the bomb on the B-bombsite in a 2-vs-1 to help secure the 5-0 lead. Later on, oskar won Round 12, which ended up as their final win of the first half, with a double entry kill on the B-bombsite with the AWP. With an 8-7 lead going into the second half, oskar dominated on the defense with the pistol round secured followed by a quad kill hold on the A-bombsite that propelled the team to close out Game 1 16-9. In Game 2, oskar had a slow start until the mid game where his defensive holds turned into rounds won, which allowed the team to come back, down 8-7. Another slow start in the second half quickly shifted as his aggressive plays allowed the offense to win some rounds but FaZe held off to edged Mirage for a win 16-14.
Big first half performance despite loss
July 18, 2017
oskar posted an even 20/20 KD on Sunday with a loss to Gambit on Inferno at the PGL Major.
oskar opened the series with a double kill down Banana on the B-bombsite to help hold off the aggressive push which led to a pistol round win. Although oskar took a massive defensive hit allowing Gambit to overcome the odds and strike back in the mid game on the offensive, he managed to give mouz the upper advantage in the first half with a double kill hold on the A-bombsite for the 8-7 lead. oskar then displayed a dismal performance in the second half as only two rounds were won and not many kills were accumulated in the 16-10 loss on Inferno, posting a team-leading 83.8 ADR.
AWP clutch turns game around
July 4, 2017
oskar put up a 17/18 KD in mousesports' win over Fnatic on Tuesday at ESL Cologne.
oskar ended up being the catalyst for mouz's comeback win against Fnatic to open up the week. Things were looking quite dire for this team, as Fnatic came out the gate extremely hot. oskar was trying to get something going with his AWP, but he just wasn't able to find his shots early on. His low point was losing a 1-vs-1 in the first half. He made up for it soon after with two textbook flicks in a 1-vs-2 situation in Round 11. That round seemed to wake mouz up and allowed them to start pushing for what was an eventual 16-11 win.
Above average performance helps mouse squeak out a win
June 4, 2017
oskar had a decent performance against OpTic on Wednesday at ESL Pro League Season 5 Finals, posting a KD of 22/17.
oskar had an alright game vs OpTic, managing to go positive on Cobblestone despite some setbacks. oskar's performance from the second half was markedly better than his middling first half, taking rifle duels on the T-side to help mousesports take a 8-5 second half to secure a 16-12 win. oskar only managed a KD of 22/17 and a below-average ADR of 75.3, but it was enough to secure the mousesports win.
