Mousesports Lead the Pack After Week 3

The European division of ESL Pro League continued through Week 3 with mousesports holding on to the top spot while Astralis and Natus Vincere stay hot on their tail. Meanwhile, FaZe Clan climbed the standings to fifth place after going 2-2 on the week. Drawing closer to the midway point of the season, leta™s take a closer look how the teams fared in Week 3.

Martin aoeSTYKOa Styk along with the rest of mouz (9-5, 26 points) had a busy Week 3 while playing four series across the three days of competition. Things got started on Tuesday against the mixed European giants of FaZe Clan (6-6, 20 points). mouz had a solid showing on their T-side, which made up for most of their rounds won in the 2-0 series sweep. mouz continued their run on Wednesday, running into G2 Esports (4-10, 13 points), who is playing with Oscar aoemixwella Canellas in the lineup on a trial basis, and the Swedes of Ninjas in Pyjamas (7-3, 20 points) to pick up two draws that kept them at the top of the standings. The German organization then wrapped up the Week 3 action with another draw to Heroic in a close Cobblestone duel.

Week 3 also featured two Danish derbies as Heroic (6-6, 17 points) and North (4-8, 12 points) kicked off the Danesa™ action on Tuesday while Astralis (8-4, 23 points) and North picked their fight on Thursday. Ruben aoeRUBINOa Villarroel and Heroic stunned North in a blistering 2-0 series that put North on a downward spiral. Unable to recover from the loss to Heroic, North moved on to face Astralis the next day and were again bodied in a 2-0 sweep.

FaZe Clan started their Week 3 in a rather rough way as they were swept by mouz to open the week. However, the ELEAGUE Major: Boston runner ups turned things around on Wednesday and took down Heroic to pick up their first two wins of the week and put themselves in fifth place. Meanwhile, NiP finished the week sitting in the fourth spot after their two draws of the week came against mouz and G2.

Week 3 action is now in the books and Week 4 action will kick off on Tuesday at 12 p.m. ET with Heroic and NiP squaring off.
