May 20, 2018
Stewie2k posted a 42/39 KD on Friday in a 2-0 series loss to FaZe Clan in the quarterfinals at the ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals in Dallas.
ANALYSIS
A slow start to the series on Overpass was a tough one to climb back from as Stewie2k saw a 7-0 deficit at the start. It wasn't until Round 8 where SK secured a round win and Stewie2k helped his team claim the five rounds in the first half for a 10-5 deficit going in the second. The second half was another pistol win for FaZe, but Stewie2k found the frags to help SK reduce the deficit with eight rounds, however, the mixed-Euros replied with a 16-13 series lead. Struggles continued for Stewie2k and company as their CT-side only achieved two rounds in the first half. Three rounds would go his way in the second half but it wasn't enough to rattle FaZe as they continued to reach the semis over SK.
Stumped in the quarters

coldzera posted a 34/38 KD on Friday in a 2-0 series loss to FaZe Clan in the quarterfinals at the ESL Pro League Finals in Dallas.
ANALYSIS
coldzera has seen better starts on Overpass in the past, but this time around it was all FaZe Clan from the start, with a 7-0 lead before coldzera's men could respond. Only a handful of rounds would go his way in the first half for a 10-5 score as FaZe continued their lead with a second pistol round win. coldzera finally found some ground on the CT-side with eight rounds tallied in the second half, but FaZe responded to put an end to the comeback for the 16-13 win and series lead. coldzera continued snapped FaZe's 3-0 lead on Mirage with a 1-vs-3 clutch on the B-bombsite to make it 3-1. However, FaZe Clan dominated for a 13-2 half and went on in the second to claim the three remaining rounds for the series sweep to the semis.

boltz posted a 29/36 KD on Friday in a 2-0 series loss to FaZe Clan in the quarterfinals at the ESL Pro League Finals in Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Overpass was a pick made by boltz and company but at the start, it looked more like a FaZe's as their CT-side picked up a huge 7-0 lead. boltz did what he could to help SK win five offensive rounds in the first half before FaZe took the 10-5 lead going into the second. Another slow start turned around as boltz held the line for a sum of eight rounds over FaZe to contest for the lead, but unfortunately, the team could not overcome the odds and fell 16-13. Things didn't get better on Mirage as boltz struggled to hold off the offense of FaZe for a dismal 13-2 score at the half. Despite winning three off the bat in the second, it wasn't enough to rattle FaZe who swept the series for the semifinal berth.

ANALYSIS
FalleN kicked off his Group B decider match with an unimpressive display on the CT-side of Cache for only two rounds in the 13-2 half. A slow start in the second immediately put FalleN's back against the wall with mouz reaching map point, but FalleN marched with his men to secure eight straight before mouz had the final say in the 16-10 win. The series moved into Mirage where FalleN had an identical first half in the result of a 13-2 half. The second half was all mouz to squeeze past SK's defense to secure the series win, sending FalleN and co. home early.
