Evil Geniuses
Settled for a draw against Secret
October 23, 2018
Fly had a good showing against Team Secret as Evil Geniuses settle for a draw at ESL One Hamburg. The Israeli captain finished with a KDA of 4/14/15
Fly played Bane in Game 1 of the series. He helped secure a good lane for S4's Batrider. His ward game was also on point as he read Puppey like an open book throughout the easy victory. In Game 2, Fly didn't really do much on his Ogre. He managed to pile the pressure in the very early moments of the game but afterwards he was just free gold for Secret. His ten deaths were the highest in the game.
Two easy victories for EG's new captain
August 18, 2018
Fly had a hard time in Game 1 but still came out on top in a 2-0 win over Fnatic in the group stages of The International 8. He finished with a 1/18/32.
Fly had a tough game individually, but it allowed the rest of EG to find a lot of success all around the map and in fights. Fly made his Phoenix a very juicy target for Fnatic, prompting a lot of spells and damage to be used on him in fights. He finished with a rough 0/12/15 KDA. Fly had a much better time on Crystal Maiden in Game 2. With a beefy and threatening frontline, Fly was actually able to hang back and be effective while casting his spells. He finished with a 1/6/17 KDA.
Showing flashes of brilliance
July 25, 2018
Fly's leadership was on full display against Let's Do It at The Summit 9. The newly minted captain finished with a KDA of 6/11/30.
Fly played the meta-popular Crystal Maiden in the laning stage. Thanks to the buff to Crystal Nova, he easily secured the early game for Arteezy against LDI's aggressive dual lane. He thoroughly outwarded LDI and his rotations were very effective. He had a bit of fun down the lane when he accumulated swag points for his Blink Dagger-Black King Bar-Freezing Fields. Fly switched it up with Treant Protector in Game 2. He managed to prolong EG's life with his Living Armor spam on towers. But in the end, it was all for naught as EG could not hold on to their dear life.
Excellent positioning on Phoenix
June 24, 2018
Fly played a good game vs Immortals in The International 8 North American qualifiers, finishing with a 4/4/20 KDA.
Fly was constantly in position to use his spells well before moving into place for a good Supernova. Immortals were rarely able to destroy his egg, giving EG a huge advantage and momentum in fights. He managed to get all this done largely without items, not completing his first major item until 28 minutes.
First event with Evil Geniuses ends quickly
June 6, 2018
Fly finished a 0-2 loss to Optic Gaming at the China Supermajor with an 8/13/24 overall KDA.
Fly played well on Dazzle in Game 1 despite the fact that he was mostly just delaying deaths instead of turning fights with Shallow Grave. His positioning was good all game, but EG were usually forced to use Fly's spells on the retreat. He finished with a 5/5/14 KDA. Fly had a rougher time in Game 2, on Disruptor this time. He had a tough time playing vs Omniknight's Repel, which made it very difficult for EG to make use of Glimpse to find kills. He finished with a 3/8/8 KDA.
Still settling in to his new home
June 2, 2018
Fly finished a tough 2-0 loss to TNC with a 0/25/40 overall KDA.
Fly played Vengeful Spirit in an extremely rough Game 1. EG fought their way to a respectable mid-game lead of around 10,000 gold, but a series of fights after losing heroes put them far behind. Fly did a nice job trying to save his teammates, but this of course came at the cost of his own life. He finished with a 0/19/20 KDA. Fly played Warlock in Game 2, finishing another game without even a single kill. He made some nice plays with his Chaotic Offering and gave up far fewer deaths, but it still was not enough to pull EG through. Fly finished with a 0/6/20 KDA.
Ends his time with OG
May 28, 2018
In a pair of Facebook posts just minutes apart, Evil Geniuses and OG announced that Fly will be moving to America to play for EG.
After nearly three years as OG's captain and one of the team's co-founders, Fly has decided to part ways. OG has had a very rough patch after The International 7 where the team finished in 7th-8th place. Fly will be moving into the role of position five support and captain, the role previously filled by Misery.'s punching bag for a game
May 24, 2018
Fly finished with a 0/10/1 KDA on Jakiro on a brutally one-sided loss to at ESL Birmingham.
Fly was almost a complete non-factor in this game apart from the vision he provided and his shot calling. He died in practically every single fight and was never able to get in range to make very good use of his spells at all.
Holds firm against an early deficit
March 30, 2018
Fly finished with a 5/5/17 KDA on Warlock in a win over Optic at DAC 2018.
Fly's Chaotic Offering as well as Fatal Bonds were a huge part of OG's comeback in this game. Once OG were able to finally get Optic to take them in a five on five fight the strength of Fly's hero pick came to light. With setup from JerAx's Naga Siren, OG could turn around practically any fight into a win.
Major run cut short
March 7, 2018
Fly finished with a 3/7/19 KDA in an elimination match loss to Liquid at PGL Bucharest.
Fly played a good Dazzle against Liquid, coming up just short of a win. His positioning was good throughout most of the game, but so much was riding on his Shallow Grave that the longer the game went the more likely a mistake became. Eventually he made one, leading to the death of his core and an eventual loss.
Eliminated by Liquid
February 22, 2018
Fly finished with a 2/17/18 overall KDA in a tough 0-2 loss to Liquid at ESL One Katowice.
Fly played a decent Rubick in Game 1, but never had much major impact on fights. Fly was very low level as the game went later, leaving him ill equipped to deal with the huge burst from so many of OG's cores. He died often at the start of fights, as well as off on his own. Fly finished with a 1/12/13 KDA. In Game 2 Fly played Disruptor. He had another rough time in Game 2, almost immediately playing from behind. It was difficult to actually find kills with Glimpse, which made it very difficult for Fly to actually start off fights with his combo. He finished with a 1/5/5 KDA.
Gets picked off early and often
February 21, 2018
Fly struggled to stay alive as OG lost to Vici Gaming 1-0 in the first round of ESL One Katowice. Fly finished with a 4/10/6 KDA.
In a game that saw OG come out dominating, Fly was the only player seemingly holding them back. He accounted for the first three deaths of his team and ended up dying a team-high 10 times. He was a big reason to why OG was not able to run away with their early lead and will look to improve as OG now has to fight through the losers bracket.
Leads his team to a convincing 2-0 win
January 6, 2018
Fly performed very well in a 2-0 win against Empire at Captain's Draft 4. He finished with an overall KDA of 9/9/33.
Fly started the series out with a very strong Disruptor performance. His movement in the early game was decent, but his presence in mid and late-game fights was game winning. He helped set up countless kills with Glimpse and Static Storm that opened up fights for the rest of OG to take over. Fly finished with a 5/5/16 KDA. In Game 2 Fly took to the skies on one of his signature heroes, Phoenix. Despite the hero being widely regarded as bad, Fly continues to put it to good use. He did a large amount of damage as well as healing, and Supernova was excellent at creating chaos in fights that OG could use to its advantage. Fly finished with a 4/4/17 KDA.
Excellent series from the OG captain
December 16, 2017
Fly lead his team to an impressive 2-0 win over Evil Geniuses at the Summit 8. He finished with an overall KDA of 4/6/21.
Fly played a very solid Game 1. His Shadow Shaman was a key piece of OG's pushing power, and his disables were also very important in fights for OG. He finished with a 0/5/15 KDA. In Game 2 Fly went back to Shadow Shaman again, and for good reason. His Serpent Wards allowed OG to turn decent fight wins into objective pushes that expanded their lead extremely rapidly. In the later portions of the game, a single won fight was all it took for OG to storm down the entire EG base. Fly finished with a 4/1/6 KDA.
Rough game for OG's captain
November 4, 2017
Fly finished with a 0/7/13 KDA in OG's loss to Newbee in the loser's bracket at the DotaPit Minor. OG have been eliminated.
Fly played Ogre in what was a really underwhelming game for the OG captain. His positioning was OK, but he found himself in poor spots a number of times throughout the game. OG did well early on, but couldn't secure enough of a lead to save Fly's late game.
