Natus Vincere
Comes back after a demoralizing Game 1
September 25, 2018
Crystallize played a good series, taking it 2-1 over Espada in the Dreamleague Season 10 CIS qualifiers. He finished with an overall KDA of 20/8/20.
ANALYSIS
In Game 1 Crystallize played Morphling. He had an OK start but failed to transition into the late-game monster Na'Vi needed him to be. Despite all his elusiveness, Espada was able to bring down Crystallize reliably in the late-game, shutting out a lot of his effectiveness. He finished with a 5/5/3 KDA. Crystallize played a great Ursa in Game 2. He was able to find kills all game, even on his own, and scaled very well as the game went on. He finished with a 10/3/9 KDA. Crystallize finished off the series with a great Phantom Lancer game. He was practically un-touchable all game, moving around with complete impunity and ripping apart Espada's heroes. He finished with a 5/0/8 KDA.
Moments of brilliance not enough Na'Vi
June 1, 2018
Crystallize played a good series, but it wasn't enough for Natus Vincere against Newbee at the China Super Major. The carry finished with a KDA of 10/4/21.
ANALYSIS
Crystallize had a quiet Lycan game in Na'Vi's series opener against Newbee. He had a fairly easy laning stage against Kpii's Omniknight. He managed to farm a six-minute Helm of the Dominator and a 19-minute Necronomicon 3. But the objectives didn't come for Na'Vi as Newbee prevented their enemies from crossing the river. Crystallize went with Lifestealer in the important Game 2 for Na'Vi. He had an excellent laning stage which he used to farm an impressive 17-minute Radiance. While Crystallize had an excellent game with eight kills, he lacked help from any of his teammates to turn around the match.
Picture perfect performance
April 14, 2018
Crystallize had a perfect series for Natus Vincere against SG esports in StarLadder. The carry finished with a KDA of 18/0/19.
ANALYSIS
Crystallize was in the business of farming enemy heroes instead of creeps in the elimination match against SG. His Chaos Knight and Gyrocopter were always on the hunt for enemy heroes after a successful laning stage. Crystallize was involved in nearly 70 percent of Navi's total kills in the series which was impressive for a carry player.
Still no dice on signature hero
February 21, 2018
Crystallize had a forgettable series against Newbee in ESL Katowice 2018. The rising star finished with a KDA of 5/5/13.
ANALYSIS
Crystallize opened up the series with his signature carry Faceless Void. He found a lot of farm early on and picked up the meta-ubiquitous Battle Fury. His first Chronospheres really helped Natus Vincere's cause, but in the mid game, he was letting Faith's Rubick steal Chronosphere way too often, which became really troublesome for Natus Vincere. In Game 2, he went from the teamfight hero to a skirmishing hero in Weaver. He again had an easy time in the early game, which resulted in a 17-minute Diffusal Blade. Crystallize was focusing on keeping the lane equilibrium in Natus Vincere's favor and looked for kills when available. However, in the full five-man engagements Crystallize was hard pressed to get anything done.
Very underwhelming series from Na'Vi's young carry
January 24, 2018
Crystallize finished with an overall KDA of 8/10/15 in a rough 0-2 loss to Liquid at ESL One Genting.
ANALYSIS
In Game 1 Crystallize played Razor. His performance to start the series was mediocre at best. He didn't dominate his lane like Razor is expected to, and wasn't able to bully his way into fights and get off good Static Links. He finished with a 2/4/6 KDA. In Game 2 Crystallize played Chaos Knight, but didn't have much of a better game at all. He did manage to get some nice kills with his physical burst damage, but there was ample damage on Liquid to deal with his Phantasm illusions, rendering a large part of his kit useless. He finished with a 6/6/9 KDA.
Great initiation from Na'Vi's carry
January 23, 2018
Crystallize finished with an 8/2/17 KDA in a nice win vs Evil Geniuses at ESL One Genting.
ANALYSIS
His Faceless Void was excellent in this game, showing off how to initiate fights even as a carry. Crystallize's fearless gameplay was a huge part of what allowed Na'Vi to take so many fights. With his team behind him, Crystallize was able to leap into the EG lineup and trust that his teammates had his back.
Underwhelming showing from Na'Vi carry
December 8, 2017
Crystallize had a forgettable game against Virtus Pro in MDL Macau. The young carry finished with a KDA of 5/3/8.
ANALYSIS
Crystallize played Razor in the only game of the series. He did not get a lot of space early on to find good farm. He tried to fight often with his team, but was often not in the right place. He finally got his first big item at the 20-minute mark with Black King Bar, but it still couldn't win the fights for Navi.
Weak showing to end DreamLeague
December 2, 2017
Crystallize never really got off the ground in a 0-2 loss to Evil Geniuses at the DreamLeague Season 8 Major. He finished with a 4/6/4 overall KDA. Na'Vi is eliminated from the event, finishing in fourth place.
ANALYSIS
In Game 1 Crystallize played Phantom Lancer. Although he did an acceptable job, his hero was simply not suited to the pace of game that EG set. While Crystallize was still trying to farm up a second major item, EG were knocking on the Na'Vi base. Although he finished with a 2/1/2 KDA, avoiding most of the carnage, Na'Vi were far behind in this game. In Game 2 Crystallize played Terrorblade. He got off to a hot start in this game, but Na'Vi effectively threw their early lead away with a pair of disastrous fight losses. Crystallize found himself getting burst down in fights nearly instantly and before he had a chance to deal and major damage. He finished with a 2/5/2 KDA.
Dominates Fnatic to keep Na'Vi's tournament hopes alive
December 1, 2017
Crystallize played a very good series overall against Fnatic at the Dreamleague Season 8 Major. He finished with an overall KDA of 26/8/26.
ANALYSIS
In Game 1 Crystallize played Faceless Void. As the lynchpin of Na'Vi teamfight, Crystallize played his role very well throughout the entire game. Without him landing the Chronospheres that he did, Na'Vi would have been in a very dire situation up against Fnatic's late-game composition. Crystallize finished the game with a 5/3/14 KDA. In Game 2 Crystallize played Tiny. He never really stood much of a chance up against Fnatic's lineup once the mid game rolled around. Crystallize did go for a Shadow's Edge to counter Fnatic's Bristleback, but it came far too late. By that point Crystallize and Na'Vi couldn't deal the damage needed to follow up on the Silver's Edge initiation. Crystallize finished with a 5/5/8 KDA. In Game 3 Crystallize played Morphling. This game was nothing short of a playground for Crystallize. There was nothing on the Fnatic team that could touch him once his Black King Bar was finished, and he proceeded to absolutely tear through Fnatic and blow the game wide open from Na'Vi. He finished with a godlike 16/0/4 KDA.
Moments of Brilliance for the young star
October 20, 2017
Crystallize had some good moments in Na'Vi's match against Mineski at the PGL Minor. The rising star finished with a KDA of 14/12/27.
ANALYSIS
Crystallize's opening game on the Lifestealer left a lot to be desired. Having just an Armlet of Mordiggian at 27 minutes in is far from ideal. Crystallize made up for it on his Faceless Void with amazing Chronospheres. Though his early game and initiation was spotty, he quickly turned it around in the mid game as he gave Mineski hell. In Game 3, Crystallize went with Sven. He got good farm early on and even had stacks to accelerate it further. Despite staying on top of the net-worth chart for majority of the game, Crystallize was easily kited around by Mineski as they could not capitalize in the late game.
Na'Vi's rising star delivers in his first LAN appearance
October 13, 2017
Crystallize finished with an overall KDA of 15/11/25 in Na'Vi's 2-1 win over Team Secret at the Starladder iLeague Minor in Kiev.
ANALYSIS
In Game 1 Crystallize played Chaos Knight. He got off to a bit of a rough start, and things never really picked back up. As the game went on, Crystallize was constantly playing from too far behind to be effective. He got destroyed in fights almost single handedly by Puppey's Chain Frosts, an extremely bad sign for Na'Vi. He finished with a 2/5/1 KDA. In Game 2 Crystallize played Faceless Void. He played a very solid game after his shaky first one. His initiations were critical to Na'Vi's success. Whenever it looked like a fight was shaping up in Secret's favor, Crystallize was there with a Chronosphere to turn things around. He finished with a 1/3/9 KDA. In Game 3 Crystallize played Phantom Lancer. This was an extremely close game, and Crystallize played quite well during it. He was pretty effective all game, but once he finished his Heart of Terrasque there was no longer a clear answer to his illusions on Secret's side. He finished with a 12/3/15 KDA.
Na'Vi's newest addition
September 4, 2017
In a release on its website, Na'Vi confirmed that Crystallize would be joining the team for the upcoming competitive season.
ANALYSIS
Crystallize is a high MMR carry player from the CIS region who will be getting his first chance to play in the spotlight. He had previously played for Double Dimension and made it through the open qualifiers for the Kiev Major. Crystallize will be taking the role of position one carry for Na'Vi.
