Rude awakening for pub star
May 1, 2018
Naive had a rough series for Team Empire against Mineski at Epicenter XL. The young pub star from Kazakhstan with a KDA of 9/7/12.
ANALYSIS
In Game 1, Naive brought his talents to the safelane with Troll Warlord. His laning stage was mostly uncontested by Mineski thanks to his supports to get a good Battle Fury timing. He was consistently at the top of the networth chart for majority of the game. But two really bad solo deaths from him allowed Mineski to sweep the rug under Empire. In Game 2, he moved to the midlane with his Queen of Pain. But he was outplayed by Moon's Death Prophet. He couldn't recover from his poor start as he struggled to get involved for his team with a kill participation of four out of his team's 12 total kills.
Gets his competitive debut on Team Empire
April 16, 2018
In a release on its website today, Empire confirmed that the rookie Naive would be joining the team to replace Nix in the carry position.
ANALYSIS
Naive has never played competitively, and is just 17 years old, but is currently the number seven ranked player on the European Dota 2 leaderboards. The leaderboards have been a valuable place to source talent from in the past, leading to careers like gh and Miracle's, to name a few.
