Couldn't get off a Supernova
August 20, 2018
DJ finished a rough loss to Team Serenity at The International 8 with an overall KDA of 4/6/12.
DJ did his best on Phoenix to help Fnatic win teamfights, but he could never get any value from his Supernova stun. It was just too easy for Serenity's Gyrocopter to hit it with Flak Cannon, simultaneously bringing down the Egg and pressuring the rest of Fnatic. This loss eliminated Fnatic from competition in 13th-16th place.
Shut down by Evil Geniuses
August 18, 2018
DJ finished a tough 2-0 loss to Evil Geniuses in the group stages of The International 8 with an overall KDA of 7/19/25.
In Game 1 DJ played Earth Spirit. He made a few nice flashy plays, but ultimately couldn't handle the teamfight lineup from EG in the later stages of the game. His disables were good, but EG were either too spread out or just not that bothered by them. DJ finished with a 4/10/15 KDA. DJ took another crack at Earth Spirit in Game 2 but once again came up short. EG were on top of his roaming attempts and were well aware of the threat his spells posed in the later stages of the game. He finished with a 3/9/10 KDA.
Versatile series for Fnatic's star support
July 29, 2018
DJ played a great series against VGJ.Storm, taking it 2-0 at the Summit 9. He finished with an overall KDA of 15/11/28.
DJ found some amazing Shackleshots as Windranger in Game 1 to give Fnatic the openings they needed. He played extremely well in fights, giving Fnatic the damage and control of an extra core from the support role. He finished with a 6/5/17 KDA. In Game 2 DJ played Shadow Demon for Fnatic. He made some nice saves with Disruption but wasn't able to pull off flashy plays like on his Windranger. He finished with a 9/6/11 KDA.
Amazing Shackleshots highlight solid series
July 25, 2018
DJ did what he could for Fnatic's draw against OpTic. The flashy playmaker finished with a KDA of 15/6/13.
DJ was on his game in the series opener with Windranger. He was hitting crazy Shackleshots and was always at the right place at the right time. He even managed to round up nine kills for himself as a support. DJ picked Dark WIllow in Game 2 of the series. He managed to secure some kills for Fnatic early on but it felt underwhelming. He was the richest support when mid game rolled in but Fnatic really needed to take over with EternalEnvy struggling. As with Dark WIllows, the moment he fell behind, so did Fnatic.
Stellar Rubick in Game 2 not enough to turn things around
May 26, 2018
DJ played a decent series but couldn't carry on his own in a 2-1 loss to Optic at ESL Birmingham. He finished with an overall KDA of 9/6/33.
In Game 1 DJ played Elder Titan. He did a nice job positioning himself and staying alive but wasn't able to get much done with his spells otherwise. He finished with a 0/2/7 KDA. In Game 2 DJ got to show off on Rubick. He moved around the map extremely well, stealing spells and putting them to work against their owners. He got extremely farmed, finishing both Blink Dagger and Force Staff by 20 minutes. He finished with a 6/0/9 KDA. DJ played Rubick again in Game 3 but couldn't pull off a repeat performance. He was a part of a lot of Fnatic's kills but couldn't do enough on his own. He finished with a 3/4/17 KDA.
Puts together a great game
May 23, 2018
Dj had an amazing game as Fnatic defeated Evil Geniuses 1-0 in the group stage of ESL One Birmingham. Dj finished with a 5/2/9 KDA.
If it wasn't for Universe, Dj would be the MVP of this game. Playing Io, Dj killed five EG players while only dying twice. Every bit was needed from Dj, as Fnatic won with only two more kills than EG. This is a big win for Fnatic to start ESL One and can set them up well going into the next day.
Quickly eliminated after a perfect group stage
May 12, 2018
DJ finished a 2-0 loss to VGJ.Storm at GESC Thailand with a 9/12/8 overall KDA.
DJ played Shadow Shaman in Game 1, getting off to a decent start but falling flat. He got a few nice kills in lane, but things never really evolved past that. He only managed to secure a single tower with Serpent Wards, forced to use them to try and win the fights that Fnatic was losing. DJ finished with a 5/4/2 KDA. In Game 2 DJ had a rough time on Rubick. He made some nice plays in the early game and once again got himself quite a few kills, but really struggled in the mid and late-game. He finished with a 4/8/6 KDA.
Makes the highlight reel with triple kill
May 10, 2018
DJ had an incredible game against Evil Geniuses at GESC Thailand. The roaming support finished with a KDA of 8/5/17.
DJ played a roaming Tusk in their match against EG. He was always making plays for Fnatic, whether with a perfect Snowball save or an impeccable Ice Shard. He also took his play to the next level after his 21-minute Blink Dagger. The highlight of his game was the triple kill against EG that helped shift the momentum in his team's favor.
Stellar series from Fnatic's support
March 24, 2018
DJ was fantastic in both games of Fnatic's 2-0 win over Liquid at Dreamhack Dreamleague Season 9.
DJ played Elder Titan in Game 1, setting up his team for great fights as well as delivering some nice damage himself. DJ's positioning all game was fantastic, and the fact that he lived through a majority of fights was a huge part of why Fnatic were able to win. He finished with a 10/2/27 KDA. In Game 2 DJ played Sand King, once again set up his teammates with great initiation in fight after fight against Liquid. His positioning was great, letting DJ land clutch stuns and Epicenters all game while remaining alive in most major fights. He finished with a 4/3/20 KDA.
Couldn't keep up with the frantic series
February 25, 2018
DJ was out of his element against in the semifinals of ESL One Katowice 2018, finishing with a KDA of 4/11/19.
DJ couldn't keep up with Virtus Pro's frantic pace as he couldn't really turn it around for Fnatic early on. His Earthshaker had a decent 15-minute Blink Dagger timing opening but it didn't amount to much for Fnatic's tempo. It was the same story in Game 2 with his Tiny but at least he actually scrounged up four kills in the lopsided match.
Fnatic's tournament woes continue with another last-place finish
December 1, 2017
DJ had a tough series against Na'Vi at the Dreamleague Season 8 Major. He finished with an overall KDA of 11/17/30. This loss eliminates Fnatic from the event tied for last place.
DJ played Winter Wyvern in Game 1. Despite Fnatic losing the game, DJ played very well to keep them in it for so long. His Winter's Curse was a huge deterrent that kept Na'Vi from taking nonstop fights. DJ was also a very effective counter to Na'Vi's Chronosphere for most of the game, but unfortunately, he couldn't stop every one. DJ Finished with a 7/6/9 KDA. DJ played Wyvern again in Game 2. He played well this time, but didn't have nearly as many opportunities to get off big Winter's Curses as in Game 1. This was probably a good thing though, because it meant Fnatic were the ones in the driver's seat. He finished with a 1/6/15 KDA. In Game 3 DJ played Warlock. His overall impact on this game was very minimal, even his Chaotic Offerings failed to accomplish much for Fnatic. He finished the game with a 3/5/6 KDA.
Starts out strong, but can't follow through
November 3, 2017
DJ finished with an overall KDA of 12/21/39 in Fnatic's 1-2 loss to at the DotaPit Minor. This loss drops Fnatic to the best-of-one elimination lower bracket.
In Game 1 DJ played Earthshaker. He played very well in this game, especially when Fnatic's backs were up against the wall early on. His plays with Fissure and Echo Slam were a huge part of what Fnatic escape fights with minimal losses and an occasional kill, holding out until the late game when they could bring it back. DJ finished with a 6/6/17 KDA. In Game 2 DJ played Earthshaker again. He landed a few very impactful Echo Slams, but they were too far and few between to make enough difference to overcome the massive deficit Fnatic found themselves facing. He finished with a 3/6/9 KDA. In Game 3 DJ played Shadow Shaman. He made some nice plays with Serpent Wards, but it was just ultimately not enough to overcome VP's teamfight coordination. He finished with a 3/9/13 KDA.
Far from his best
October 27, 2017
DJ had some good moments for Fnatic in their loss to Evil Geniuses at ESL One Hamburg. The Filipino star finished with a KDA of 7/7/16.
His opening game on Clockwerk left a lot to be desired. His rotations to help Xcalibur early on were decisively late and this allowed SumaiL to snowball in the game. His mid game was a bit better as he got a 28 minute Orchid Malevolence and he was accurately using his Hookshots on the way to eight assists. In Game 2, his Earth Spirit helped Fnatic stay in the match. His early game rotations were much better as he helped Xcalibur kill SumaiL a number of times. As the game went on his space creation and combo usage gave EG some headaches.
Run in TI7 has ended
August 6, 2017
DJ was bullied around when Fnatic was swept 2-0 by Evil Geniuses in the group stages of The International 7. DJ finished the series with a 1/12/6 KDA. Fnatic is eliminated from TI7.
EG was clearly the better team and Fnatic was already discouraged enough with elimination looming overhead. Those both culminated in one last Fnatic beatdown at TI7. On Rubick and Crystal Maiden, DJ was outmatched and overwhelmed. DJ and his teammates were never given a chance to play their style in TI7 as they could not handle the big stage.
Fails to make any impact
August 2, 2017
DJ was on the wrong side of a blowout as Fnatic was swept 2-0 by LGD Gaming in the group stages of The International 7. Dj finished the series with a 4/15/9 KDA.
LGD just never let DJ do much of anything in this series. You could see the frustration for DJ as he was killed early and often, leading his team with 15 deaths. DJ even failed to make it to level 9 in Game 2 because he was barely alive. This will be a series to forget.
