NewBee
Gave his heart out in lost
August 20, 2018
Moogy gave his heart out against Winstrike but Newbee still fall short at The International 2018. The carry finished with a KDA of 18/7/19.
ANALYSIS
Moogy went with Gyrocopter against Winstrike. He was the only one on the side of Newbee who was having success in the laning stage despite giving First Blood against Nongrata. He managed to bounce back in an incredible way farming a plethora of items. With Black King Bar and Mjolnir, he was always in the thick of the action alongside Sccc's Dragon Knight. His solid stat line didn't mean much in the end though as Newbee still concede.
Puts up strong fight, but can't topple Virtus pro
August 17, 2018
Moogy played well despite coming out on the losing end of two Phantom Lancer games vs Virtus pro in the group stages at The International 8. He finished with an overall KDA of 17/10/4.
ANALYSIS
Moogy fought well in Game 1 but couldn't pull all the weight for Newbee on his own. He managed to elude Virtus pro's aggression quite well, farming up and becoming a serious threat in fights. Unfortunately, VP were able to handle the rest of his team or just burst Moogy down in key late-game fights. In Game 2 Moogy once again put up a commendable fight for his team, but couldn't do enough on his own against a powerful Virtus pro lineup. He managed to find some good kills for Newbee, but it was nothing in the face of the momentum and lead built up by VP.
Weak series apart from Game 2
June 5, 2018
Moogy finished with a 21/10/10 overall KDA in a 2-1 loss to Virtus.pro at the China Supermajor.
ANALYSIS
Moogy had a bad Game 1 on Faceless Void. He did poorly in lane and was never able to catch up to deliver the initiation and damage his team needed. He was forced to go for a Mask of Madness to catch up, but the silence betrayed him more than the farming speed helped. He finished with a 3/6/2 KDA. In Game 2 Moogy came back with a deathless Lifestealer performance. He went for the classic single target focused build with Desolator and Assault Cuirass, ripping through Virtus.pro's heroes in a flurry of attacks during Rage. He finished with a 12/0/6 KDA. In Game 3 Moogy had a difficult time on Gyrocopter. He was pressured heavily in the early game and then never given any space to recover afterwards. He did manage to secure some kills, but they were mostly on supports. He finished with a 6/4/2 KDA.
Impressive showing from Newbee carry
June 1, 2018
Moogy continues to be a revelation for Newbee as they dominate Natus Vincere in the China Super Major. The carry finished with a KDA of 20/7/17.
ANALYSIS
Moogy had a solid series opener with his Luna against Navi. With the help of Kaka's Clockwerk, he was able to secure a free lane for himself as they forced General's Doom out of the lane. His 777 gold-per-minute statline kept Newbee in control throughout Game 1. Moogy did not slowdown in Game 2 with his Razor. His farm was still top notch despite dying five times. After he got his Aghanim's Scepter and Refresher Orb, all Na'Vi could do was run away from him.
Excellent all-around game
May 18, 2018
Moogy preyed on Invictus Gaming's objectives as Newbee pick up the win. The carry finished with a KDA of 11/6/15.
ANALYSIS
Moogy found a lot of farm for his Lycan in the laning stage. His Helm of the Dominator and Level 3 Necronomicon came at a very good time. He was constantly at the right place at the right time for his team, looking for Towers or kills when available. Eventually two lanes of Barracks would fall against Moogy as Newbee made the space for him. In the super late game with Mega Creeps on both sides, he got the buyback at the perfect time to help Newbee take the game.
Drove Newbee forward with impressive performance
May 14, 2018
Moogy was a beast against TNC in the MDL Changsha Major. The carry finished with a KDA of 27/4/20.
ANALYSIS
Newbee may have lost the first game of the series but Moogy still played like a boss against TNC. His Razor was single-handedly keeping Newbee in the game with his incredible farm and kill potential. Unfortunately, his 11 kills were eventually for naught but it was still a very good game from Moogy. In Game 2, Moogy continued his scintillating form with a memorable game on Gyrocopter. His managed to get 16 kills out of his team's 37 kills.
Rough series for Newbee's carry
April 29, 2018
Moogy had a rough time in a 2-1 loss to Virtus.pro at EPICENTER XL. He finished with an overall KDA of 18/17/28.
ANALYSIS
Moogy played Razor in a difficult Game 1 loss. Despite having to play from behind all game, Moogy still did a commendable amount of damage in fights and was able to secure at least a few good kills for Newbee. He finished with a 6/3/8 KDA. In Game 2 Moogy played Luna. He took a long time to fully come online, but Newbee was able to hold out long enough for it to be worth it. Moogy and his illusions were a huge part of what really took over fights in the late-game for Newbee, especially with Faith's Shadow Demon making even more. Moogy finished with a 9/7/16 KDA. In Game 3 Moogy got bullied on Terrorblade. He was rarely given any time or space in fights to deal much damage, and he usually got Doomed as well before being able to use Sunder. After an impressive Game 2 comeback, this was an unfortunate note for Moogy to end on. He finished with a 3/7/4 KDA.
Rough showing from Newbee carry
April 2, 2018
Moogy could not step up when Newbee needed him the most as they are eliminated from the Dota Asia Championships 2018. The carry finished with a KDA of 5/6/7.
ANALYSIS
Moogy played the Gyrocopter in the first game of the series. The Newbee defensive trilane at top lost against Evil Geniuses aggressive trilane and Moogy just struggled from there. He needed way more than a Sange & Yasha and Black King Bar at the 24-minute mark to save Newbee from their terrible start. In Game 2, he then tried his luck with Lifestealer. He had a better laning stage this time around but his decision to rush a Radiance threw it away. His 1/1/1 statline underlined how powerless he was against Evil Geniuses. Moogy also averaged a measly 393 Gold Per Minute in the series.
Newbee carry shows off his newfound discipline
March 23, 2018
Moogy continued to show his growth as a carry in Newbee's win against OG in Dreamleague Season 9. The young player finished with a KDA of 11/3/25.
ANALYSIS
Moogy began the series with a safe-lane Lycan. His laning stage mostly went without a hitch despite OG's efforts to slow him down. Moogy managed to get an 18-minute Level 3 Necronomicon, and he just took objectives with ease as his opponents were powerless to stop him. In Game 2, Moogy had a slightly harder time on his Gyrocopter in the laning stage, but he shrugged it off thanks to stacks from his teammates. It was a very clean series from Moogy overall, in which he only died three times.
Did wonders with carry Pugna
March 4, 2018
Moogy was key in Newbee's win against Vega Squadron at the Bucharest Major. The carry finished with a KDA of 8/4/8.
ANALYSIS
Moogy played Pugna in their only game against Vega Squadron. Moogy's flexibility continues to show as he constantly plays different kinds of heroes to keep their opponent's guessing. He didn't fare too well against Vega's aggressive Gyrocopter and Chen lane dying a couple of times. Moogy easily bounced back after a poor start by getting an Aether Lens and Boots of Travel in quick succession. Moogy then racked up eight kills and tons of tower damage in another good showing from him.
Not given enough time get in fighting shape
February 23, 2018
Moogy was the only one who got going in Newbee's elimination against Evil Geniuses in ESL One Katowice. The young carry finished with a KDA of 4/4/3.
ANALYSIS
Moogy only totaled four kills in the entire series, yet he was the best performer for Newbee in their collapse against North American giants Evil Geniuses. Normally Moogy plays on the aggressive heroes like Ursa Warrior and Gyrocopter for Newbee, but this time around they decided to let him play the greedy carry with Terrorblade and Phantom Lancer. The gamble didn't work out for Newbee as they lacked the tempo control which Moogy is so good at.
Rough time in loss
February 21, 2018
Moogy was outdueled as Newbee fell to Team Kinguin 1-0 in the first round of ESL One Katowice. Moogy finished with a 3/2/1 KDA.
ANALYSIS
Kinguin was the better team on this day. Newbee may not have known it right away, but it was evident in how dominant Kinguin was. Moogy tried his best as he led his team in kills in the abbreviated game, but was not able to do anything close to what was needed to slow the surging Kinguin team. Newbee is now down to the losers bracket, where another loss will send them home.
Agressive play pays off
February 21, 2018
Moogy stepped up his game anew against Natus Vincere in ESL One Katowice 2018. The action-oriented carry finished with a KDA of 23/3/14.
ANALYSIS
Moogy played Razor in the first game of the series. He had some struggles in the game, but he quickly bounced back from it. With the help of his 18-minute Black King Bar, he was always in the thick of the action, stealing damage and dishing out the pain with his 10 kills. In Game 2, it was a similar story for Moogy as he himself was setting the tempo for Newbee with his Gyrocopter. He punished General's Brewmaster early and often. Moogy racked up the game highs in kills (13) and gold per minute (743) which really summarized his dominating performance.
Steps up to carry Newbee to a win
February 2, 2018
Moogy played a great series in a 2-1 win against Mineski the fourth Starladder Invitational. He finished with an overall KDA of 34/9/28.
ANALYSIS
In Game 1 Moogy played Slark. He got off to a strong start, but a few solo deaths and teamfight losses put his early lead firmly out of the picture. Moogy was very strong when allowed to move around in fights, but Mineski did too good a job of bursting him down before Moogy could slip out of their grasp. He finished with a 7/4/6 KDA. In Game 2 Moogy dominated Mineski on Leshrac. After getting a free farm lane, Moogy got an extremely fast 12-minute Bloodstone and proceeded to roll over Mineski. The sheer amount of constant magical damage he could put out was just overwhelming. Moogy finished with an impressive 17/1/12 KDA. Moogy finished off the series with an impressive Tiny game. He did well in lane, and transitioned extremely smoothly into a potent source of burst damage and control in fights. He was able to constantly get into fights and instantly bring down a Mineski support, or even sometimes a core, instantly shifting fights in Newbee's favor. He finished with a 10/4/10 KDA.
Newbee carry shows off deadly form
January 26, 2018
Moogy had a smooth game against Vici Gaming in ESL One Genting. The carry finished with a KDA of 14/4/21.
ANALYSIS
After a heartbreaking defeat against Team Liquid the night prior, Moogy was a man on a mission as he unleashed his rage against Vici Gaming. He kicked off the series with a carry Razor. He picked up an 11-minute Drums of Endurance and proceeded to set the tempo for Newbee. Moogy was involved in 12 of Newbee's 16 kills while he managed the game-high 483 gold per minute. In Game 2, his Phantom Lancer didn't go for any of that meta Battle Fury nonsense, instead rushing a classic 13-minute Diffusal Blade instead. He against recorded the highest gold per minute with 627 while picking an impressive 11 kills.
