Misfits
Outmatched once again
September 8, 2018
Sencux ended Misfits' Saturday loss to Vitality with a 5/8/14 KDA.
ANALYSIS
Similarly to his previous series up against Fnatic and Caps, Sencux struggled mightily to keep up with his lane opponent. With Jiizuke having his performance of the season, Sencux stuck to the simple and supportive champions of Lulu and Malzahar, and failed to have the same impact. He was consistently down in CS and kill participation, and didn't have the same effect come teamfights. When he deviated from the safe champions with a Yasuo pick, it went even worse for him. He simply couldn't make any real sort of positive impact for his team.
Completely outclassed
September 2, 2018
Sencux ended Misfits' Saturday loss to Fnatic 5/10/19.
ANALYSIS
Sencux took a supportive approach to this series, compared with his counterpart's hard-carry mentality. Unfortunately, while he was sometimes successful in facilitating his teammates, this tactic gave more or less free rein over to Caps, who used it to stomp Misfits, especially in Games 3 and 4. Even with the counter pick of Orianna into Cassiopeia for Game 1, Sencux simply looked outmatched in the mid lane, not managing to have nearly the impact of his opponent.
Falls off as series goes on
August 25, 2018
Sencux ended Misfits' sweep of G2 on Saturday 2/7/16.
ANALYSIS
Sencux started out the series with an unorthodox Twisted Fate pick into Perkz's LeBlanc. This worked surprisingly well as a counter, as his defensive itemization and runes helped him survive despite a slight CS deficit, and the pressure of his ultimate kept Perkz from roaming. Later on, Sencux used his ultimate to help out Alphari in the split-push, nabbing multiple kills, towers, and an inhibitor, the last of which was taken as the other three members took Baron. In Games 2 and 3, Sencux took Malzahar into the Ryze of Perkz, and was less successful. He was pushed in in both games, fell behind in CS, and was unable to roam. In Game 3, he died a game-high five times.
Thwarted time and again
August 18, 2018
Sencux's KDA read 3/3/7 at the end of Misfits' loss to ROCCAT on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
As one piece of a dedicated pick comp, Sencux's LeBlanc struggled to find the kills he needed to get rolling. This was largely due to the heavy global and semi-global presence of ROCCAT's team composition, which forcibly outnumbered Misfits at seemingly every turn. As a result, Sencux's ability to find picks was hamstrung early on. Once teamfights rolled around, he faced an equally frustrating problem in the form of Tahm Kench's Devour coming out from Norskeren, saving carries multiple times before Sencux could finish them off. Sencux still put out good damage but was heavily hampered in this game.
Struggles during loss
August 5, 2018
Sencux earned a 4/4/4 KDA on Galio during his team's defeat against S04.
ANALYSIS
Much like the rest of his team, Sencux had a decent start to his team's game against S04. Showing up huge in the early game, he quickly racked up several kills and assists, making it seem as though he would be able to carry the game with ease. This was not the case however as his team seemed unsure of how to group and push their advantages to take full control of the game. As a result, S04 had time to bounce back and force fights of their own. With Sencux being the only member of his team dealing reliable damage, the squad quickly fell in fights, giving up pressure and ultimately the victory to the enemy team.
Embarrassing performance on Orianna
July 29, 2018
Sencux's scoreline read 0/1/1 as Misfits fell to Splyce on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Sencux had what can only be described as an abysmal performance on Orianna on Saturday. Aside from being outfarmed by Nisqy's Zoe, he simply failed to accomplish much of anything, participating in only a single kill and missing Shockwave after Shockwave throughout the game. To top it off, his use of Stopwatch in the final teamfight was so bad it was very possibly a misclick, as it led only to his death.
Strong controlled play over UoL
July 27, 2018
Sencux earned a 2/1/6 KDA on Orianna during his team's convincing win over UoL.
ANALYSIS
Sencux had an extremely strong performance over UoL, picking Orianna and finding success in every stage of the game. Playing aggressively, he was able to find an early lead for himself while simultaneously avoiding ganks from the enemy team. Providing the wave clear his team needed, he was able to halt the enemy teams push at every stage of the game. Though he was focused down, he stayed safe and hit a huge shockwave to deter the enemy team in its only semi-successful push. As a result, the rest of his team was able to claim back-to-back fight victories and close out the game in just 29 minutes.
Uses Yasuo to find success against Roccat
July 20, 2018
Sencux earned a 6/2/7 KDA on Yasuo during his team's convincing victory over ROCCAT.
ANALYSIS
After picking up an early First Blood, Sencux quickly found his stride against ROCCAT. With two kills under his belt just eight minutes into the game, Sencux had a huge advantage that allowed him freedom in lane. As the game went on, he continued to play aggressively, bringing his team a monstrous early lead that facilitated the team's success. After finding a huge lead, he was focused down quickly by the enemy team who identified him as a massive threat. Despite picking up a couple deaths in the process, Sencux was able to bring things back, picking up a triple kill in the final teamfight of the game. As a result, MSF took a convincing 36-minute victory over ROCCAT.
Strong showing on Yasuo nets win
July 14, 2018
Sencux finished his team's 38-minute victory over G2 with a 3/0/5 KDA on Yasuo.
ANALYSIS
Sencux put the average Yasuo to shame after dominating during his team's victory over G2. After assisting in picking up first blood, he played things slow in order to scale and buy time for his team to take an opportune fight. As soon as the situation arose, he went in, dealing huge amounts of damage and dominating G2's carries. Although he took time to get going, after ramping up he had no problem dealing the necessary damage to wipe the enemy team. As a result, Misfits claimed a 38-minute victory to remain undefeated in the EULCS.
Anivia pick fails to impress
March 4, 2018
Sencux ended Misfits' Saturday loss to H2k with a 2/1/1 KDA.
ANALYSIS
Likely due to the Archangel's Staff buffs on 8.4, and possibly as a counter to Ryze, Sencux went with a rare Anivia pick in this game. However, if the latter was the intention, it was certainly unsuccessful, as Sencux quickly fell behind in CS and never found an advantage in lane. The Anivia also didn't fit in with the mid-game power spike the rest of the team shared, as the champion's penchant for stalling games could only help H2k's scaling composition. Sencux failed to do much of anything this game, ending 2/1/1 only due to a meaningless kill onto the enemy support a moment before Misfits' Nexus exploded.
Breaks out of slump with solid performance
February 17, 2018
Sencux ended Day 9 of the EU LCS with a 4/2/5 KDA as Galio.
ANALYSIS
Sencux was involved in nine of his team's 11 kills during the win. His four kills tied with Alphari for the team high, while his five assists were the fourth-highest total. Sencux had been slumping recently, but played well in this game, utilizing Galio's multiple forms of crowd control to help dominate teamfights.
Dominated by Perkz
January 19, 2018
Sencux finished Misfits' Day 1 loss to G2 with a 3/6/4 KDA as Galio.
ANALYSIS
Sencux was dominated by Perkz from a very early stage, eventually ending the game over 200 CS behind his mid lane counterpart. While he couldn't stand up to Perkz on an individual level in the game, he did end the match with perfect kill participation and with the second-highest kill total in the game. Sencux will need to improve moving forward as he has a lot to prove in his first split away from Splyce.
Signs with Misfits for 2018
November 23, 2017
Sencux has signed with Misfits for the 2018 season, the team announced Thursday.
ANALYSIS
A disappointing Summer Split by Splyce likely contributed to the move, as Sencux will join a rising Misfits squad for the coming year. The news comes after Sencux announced at the beginning of the month that he was exploring his options outside of the team. He and Mikyx will certainly have plenty to bring to Misfits in 2018, as the team hopes to build on their quarterfinal finish during the 2017 World Championship in the upcoming competitive year.
Exploring his options
November 1, 2017
Sencux is on the lookout for a new team, the player announced on his Twitter on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
After failing to advance past the quarterfinals in the Summer Playoffs and then not qualifying for the World Championships, Splyce is looking to revamp its roster. Sencux and the rest of the players have been granted permission to seek options from other teams. While it's possible that they'll all stay with the team, any one of these players could end up in North America with a new NA LCS team.
Unable to carry for Splyce
September 9, 2017
Sencux ended Splyce's 0-3 loss to H2K with a 11/8/23 combined KDA.
ANALYSIS
Sencux finished Game 1 with a 4/3/4 KDA as Vel'Koz. He was involved in eight of ten kills, tying Kobbe for the team high kill total. In Game 2, Sencux earned a 1/3/12 KDA as Galio. He was involved in 13 of 15 kills, finishing with his team's second-highest assist total on the more supportive Galio pick. For the final game of the series, Sencux used Corki to finish with a 6/2/7 KDA. He was involved in 13 of 17 kills, finishing one kill behind Kobbe for the team lead.
