Mihael Mehle
Earns his team sole victory
September 8, 2018
0/18/26 was Mikyx's KDA as Misfits fell to Team Vitality on Saturday.
In Game 1 of Saturday's series, Mikyx got an opportunity he hadn't been given throughout all of the playoffs: his Rakan was left open. Misfits instantly first-picked the champion for him, and it paid off. Together with Hans sama's Xayah, Mikyx dominated the bottom lane, finding a 2-vs-2 kill before spreading the advantage around the map for a win. However, in the next three games, Mikyx faltered on other picks, devastating his formerly solid KDA and handing Misfits a series loss.
Superb Pyke goes unrewarded
August 18, 2018
Mikyx's scoreline read 4/5/6 as Misfits fell to ROCCAT on Saturday.
Aside from a missed Flash-Bone Skewer combo at the beginning of the game, Mikyx played fights in this game to near perfection. He landed his skillshots, dipped in and out of vision as much as possible, and found kills with his ultimate to share the love, general fulfilling his role to the best of his ability. Unfortunately, without the damage of a real carry, this was insufficient to take down ROCCAT; in fact, much of his success might be attributed to ROCCAT prioritizing juicier targets.
Rough start results in loss
August 5, 2018
Mikyx finished his team's loss against S04 with a 1/5/7 KDA on Shen.
Mikyx started his team's defeat against S04 by racking up a death during an aggressive push into enemy territory. Though he was able to bounce back as the game went on, the rest of his team could not keep up with the pace S04 was setting. Forcing skirmishes constantly, Mikyx could not join his team with his ultimate, nor hit his taunt onto the necessary members of the enemy team to swing fights into his team's favor. Though he had a better performance than many of his teammates, it was not enough to bring his team into the lead after a pair of disastrous teamfights. The result was a disappointing 33-minute defeat for MSF.
Can't do enough
July 29, 2018
Mikyx ended Misfits' Saturday loss to Splyce 1/3/1.
Mikyx had a characteristically solid performance on Morgana on Saturday, even managing to secure a kill onto Kobbe in the 2-vs-2 after the latter had the first blood advantage. However, Misfits simply needed more plays of this type if they wanted to win the game, as the snail's pace the game took on heavily favored Splyce. Mikyx had little impact outside of that one play, and Misfits suffered for it.
Strong bindings net win
July 27, 2018
Mikyx earned a 0/1/13 KDA on Morgana during MSF's victory over UoL.
Starting off the game with amazing accuracy with his bindings, Mikyx was instrumental to his team's ability to find an early lead against UoL. During laning phase, he seemed as though he was using an aimbot with how accurate his Dark Bindings were. Taking until past the 10-minute mark to miss one, he dominated the early game, bringing his carry an extremely early lead. With the lead, the rest of MSF was able to easily control the map, in large part due to Mikyx's effort to control vision. As things progressed, he was constantly with his team, participating in every kill but one. Giving up only a single death in the game, Mikyx's strong performance resulted in his team's convincing victory over UoL.
Constantly trades his life for team's success
July 20, 2018
Mikyx earned a 0/4/9 KDA on Alistar during his team's victory over ROC.
Although he racked up the most deaths on his team by far in MSF's game against ROC, Mikyx's performance was crucial to his team's success. After helping his team gain an early game lead through roaming, he found himself constantly being traded for kills during the mid game. Thankfully, he did not let his death's prevent him from helping his team, sacrificing himself for his carries time and again. Controlling vision despite dying constantly, he was able to bring his team the necessary room to navigate the map and force ROC to take unfavorable fights. Constantly knocking up the enemy backline, his play was enough to allow MSF to take back-to-back teamfight victories, allowing the team to close out the game in 36 minutes.
Strong initiations help in victory
July 14, 2018
Mikyx earned a 0/1/10 KDA during his team's victory over G2.
Picking Rakan in order to pair well with his team's Xayah, Mikyx had a strong performance in an otherwise unfavorable meta. Opting to go for a traditional bottom lane, he was unable to get much done during the early stages of the game against the long-range waveclear of G2. Thankfully, he began stepping up as things went on, focusing more on roaming and facilitating his team in skirmishes. Landing impressive knock-ups and charms, he was able to bring his team a series of favorable fights that swung the tides in Misfits' favor after G2 having the lead for much of the game. After finding his stride, the game quickly came to a close as G2 was overwhelmed by the newfound confidence of Misfits. Taking a final fight, Mikyx assisted his team in closing out the game in 38 minutes.
Torn apart by H2k's carries
March 4, 2018
Mikyx went 0/3/2 in Misfits' loss to H2k on Saturday.
On Braum, Mikyx was doomed to die throughout this game by little fault of his own. Once Misfits failed to take control of the game during their mid-game power spike, Mikyx was forced to stand in front of his teammates in hopeless teamfights as H2k's late-game carries ripped through him. As a support with little gold income, he was unable to stand up to the damage, ending with the most deaths in the game.
Helps Misfits get back on track
February 17, 2018
Mikyx ended Misfits' win over UoL with a 0/0/8 KDA as Braum.
Mikyx was involved in eight of 11 kills en route to the victory on Friday. His eight assists were second only behind Maxlore as he gave away no deaths. The bottom lane has been the main focal point for Misfits thus far this season, but both Mikyx and Hans sama took a little bit more of a backseat role during Friday's win.
Assists every Misfits kill
January 19, 2018
Mikyx finished Day 1 of the EU LCS with a 0/3/7 KDA as Rakan.
Pairing with Hans sama's Xayah in the bottom lane, Mikyx had a decent start to the game before Misftis' fell off as a whole late. He had perfect kill participation and led Misfits with assists on all seven kills in the game. Mikyx played well in the game, but couldn't do enough to help Misfits overcome G2 on Day 1.
Joins Misfits
November 23, 2017
Mikyx has signed with Misfits, the team announced Thursday.
After announcing that he was exploring his options outside of Splyce at the beginning of the month, Mikyx has decided on a new home. He's set to join Misfits on a new-look roster going into 2018. While Misfits ended up taking SK Telecom T1 to five games in the quarterfinals of the 2017 World Championship, they were unable to hold on long enough to down the defending World Champions. With Mikyx and Sencux in tow, the team hopes to get back and perform even better in 2018.
Allowed to explore options
November 1, 2017
Mikyx has been granted permission to seek offers from other teams, the player announced on Wednesday.
Despite still being under contract until November 20, Mikyx has been allowed to entertain offers from other teams immediately. Splyce is looking to revamp its entire team from coaching staff to the roster, as all players have been granted permission to explore options. With new teams entering the NA LCS, Mikyx could find himself a new home in the states.
Averages ten assists a game
September 9, 2017
Mikyx ended Splyce's 0-3 loss to H2K with a 1/16/30 combined KDA.
Mikyx finished Game 1 with a 1/5/6 KDA as Rakan. He was involved in seven of 10 kills, tying Trashy for the team-high assist total. Using Rakan again in Game 2, Mikyx earned a 0/6/13 KDA. He was involved in 13 of 15 kills, leading Splyce in assists. For the final game of the series, Mikyx used Thresh to finish with a 0/5/11 KDA. He was involved in 11 of 17 kills, finishing an assist behind Trashy for the team high as H2K closed out the series.
Comes through in wins, struggles in defeats
August 22, 2017
Mikyx went an overall 2/19/50 as Splyce fell 2-3 to G2 on Sunday.
Mikyx fell into a rather common support pattern in this series, as his success was almost entirely dependent on that of his team. This lead to impressive KDAs of 1/4/15 and 0/3/16 in Splyce's two wins, in which, to be fair, he landed some solid crowd control to set up his teammates, though he was never the driving force behind his team. However, he was largely lackluster in his team's losses, and was unable to make any sort of game-defining play at any point.
Demonstrates impressive Gragas mechanics
August 14, 2017
Mikyx went 18/16/20 overall as Splyce went 2-0 over Vitality Sunday.
Mikyx went Gragas mid in both games of this fun-filled, action-packed series, and demonstrated surprisingly good mechanics on the champion. His Explosive Casks were particularly impressive, as he often used them to send enemies into waiting barrels. He did die quite a bit in Game 1, helping to give the lead over to Vitality, but did much better in Game 2, though his mechanics were strong and he made plays throughout both games of the series.
