Gets going late

V1per earned a 3/4/7 KDA on Irelia during his team's victory on Sunday over OpTic.
Although his team fell behind early on, V1per was able to remain consistent, holding his own in lane to find a way into things against OpTic. After trying time and again, he found himself at the front of a pair of teamfights that allowed FLY to move into the driver's seat in the game. Once ahead, V1per had no problem diving the enemy carries and picking them off one by one. His strong play and huge damage output was critical to FlyQuest bouncing back in the game. Ultimately his performance was enough to close out a final fight, resulting in FLY taking the game victory at the 40-minute mark.
Earns starting spot

V1per will start in the top lane for FlyQuest.
A member of the Team Liquid Academy for two years, V1per will get his chance to perform in the big leagues, just not with his major affiliation. FlyQuest's decision to couple veteran building blocks such as Pobelter, WildTurtle and Santorin with young players like V1per and JayJ hasn't worked out for the organization in the past, but still represents the best chance for FlyQuest to remain competitive while also building a core nucleus. There might not be a more promising young top laner than V1per, as evidenced by the fact Team Liquid brought the player to the 2018 LoL World Championships despite the fact he didn't play, and it certainly feels as if the value won't be any lower than it is right now. That doesn't make V1per any less of a risk in fantasy, especially given the litany of high-end options at the position already .
