Huge initiations result in victory
July 14, 2018
Hylissang earned a 0/1/9 KDA on Alistar during his team's victory over ROCCAT.
ANALYSIS
Picking a strong engage champion, Hylissang quickly put his champion's kit to use. Picking up a kill early on in lane, he found a lead that granted him the advantage he needed to start making additional plays. Constantly joining his team with his mobility boots, he was able to continue forcing the enemy into unfavorable skirmishes. Knocking up multiple members in each fight, his crowd control was critical to his team's success. Despite the mid game going less than ideal for Fnatic, Hylissang did not let it get to him. Turning things around just as quickly as they went sour, Hylissang's Alistar play was instrumental to his team taking back-to-back teamfight victories. Taking the game over with ease, he pushed into the enemy base following a Baron buff, allowing FNC to close out the game convincingly in 27 minutes.
Pinpoint accuracy from the Fnatic support
July 7, 2018
Hylissang ended Fnatic's Saturday victory over 100 Thieves with a 0/2/11 KDA.
ANALYSIS
From start to finish, Hylissang's Morgana was critical to helping Fnatic take over the game. His accuracy with Dark Binding was nigh impeccable, granting him the highest kill participation in the game at 11 out of 14. His map movements were also fantastic, allowing him to spread his kill pressure around his team and get multiple lanes ahead.
Strong supportive play results in victory
July 6, 2018
Hylissang played Soraka to success against Echo Fox, earning a 0/2/10 KDA in his team's victory.
ANALYSIS
Although he played one of the champions known for it's low amount of skill requires, Hylissang showed himself to be one of the strongest support players, helping decimate Echo Fox. Pairing with Heimerdinger in the bottom lane, he was able to help his carry remain safe and farm early, buying time for FNC's siege composition to come together. The early game quickly developed into skirmishes and high-action gameplay, which ultimately allowed Hylissang to get vision control and being taking over the macro game. This paid off massively as FNC used its vision advantage to take neutral objectives and further the team's lead. Simultaneously, Hylissang dominated in teamfights, using his abilities at crucial times to keep his team alive while disrupting Echo Fox's carries. As a result, FNC was able to take the game with ease in 31 minutes, defeating Echo Fox.
Makes picks as Pyke
June 30, 2018
Hylissang ended Fnatic's Saturday win over Giants 2/2/7.
ANALYSIS
Playing another game of Pyke, Hylissang once again demonstrated the power of the champion. Starting right at level 1, Hylissang landed a hook onto the enemy jungler for first blood, before running bottom and picking up a kill onto the enemy support at the two-minute mark. From there it was all downhill for Giants, as Hylissang and Caps relentlessly picked off members of Giants -- namely SirNukesAlot -- time and again.
A Pyke player's dream
June 24, 2018
7/1/9 was Hylissang's KDA as Fnatic finished off Vitality on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
This game was a dream scenario for Hylissang on Pyke, as after he helped set up three early kills in the bot lane, Fnatic was so far ahead across the map that he could go where he pleased to look for kills. Fnatic secured nearly one kill a minute in this game, largely thanks to Hylissang, who participated in 16 of 23, even securing seven for himself. With no need to temper aggression, Hylissang's Pyke shined through beautifully.
Never reaches double-digit assists
May 18, 2018
Hylissang ended Fnatic's sweep to RNG with a 0/15/26 combined KDA.
ANALYSIS
Hylissang finished Game 1 with a 0/7/8 KDA as Tahm Kench. He was involved in eight of 16 kills, tying for the team-high assist total but also ending with the most deaths. In Game 2, Hylissang earned a 0/5/9 KDA as Janna. He was involved in nine of 13 kills, ending with the team-high assist total. For the final game of the series, Hylissang used Braum and ended with a 0/3/9 KDA. He was involved in nine of 16 kills, having the second-highest assist total. Hylissang tied for the team-high assist total in the series, but never reached double-digit assists in any of the games.
Just fine on the frog
May 15, 2018
Hylissang earned a 0/3/6 KDA as Fnatic took down Flash Wolves on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Hylissang didn't make any memorable plays in this game, but he played a solid game. It's always a good sign when, as Tahm Kench, the AD carry comes away deathless, especially on something as low range as Rekkles' Sivir. Additionally, Hylissang's final death of the game came in the last few moments, helping Fnatic to take the win.
Falls behind early and never recovers
May 14, 2018
Hylissang's Braum finished with a 0/6/6 KDA in Fnatic's loss to Royal Never Give Up on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The bottom lane matchup quickly got out of control for Hylissang and Rekkles as it fell victim to an early gank. The pressure kept coming but the rest of FNC was focused on getting its solo laners ahead. The plan didn't work out well as RNG's AD carry got way too far ahead and became a huge damage threat in the second half. Hylissang tried his best to disengage but no amount of Unbreakables or Glacial Fissures could stop RNG from winning teamfights. In the end, Hylissang could do little more than try to trade his life in hopes of getting an assist. Fnatic's final stand resulted in RNG scoring an ace during a Baron power play.
Defends his carry
May 13, 2018
Hylissang's KDA read 0/1/10 as Fnatic took down EVOS on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
When your AD carry gets as strong as Rekkles did this game, the job of a Braum is clear, and Hylissang performed his role admirably. Controlling fights and offering plenty of protection, Hylissang helped Rekkles to a deathless 5/0/4 KDA on Ezreal as Fnatic took the win.
Decent showing on Braum not enough to claim victory
May 12, 2018
Hylissang earned a 0/1/4 KDA on Braum in his team's defeat against RNG.
ANALYSIS
Although Hylissang played a good game against RNG, he was put at a disadvantage from the start. Laning with an extremely passive player, he found himself unable to utilize his champion to its full potential. As things heated up, he tried to make plays with his team, and showed signs of life throughout multiple skirmishes. Unfortunately, the lackluster lane phase resulted in his team's eventual demise as the enemy Kog'Maw was farmed and able to run around uncontested during fights. Without any way to reliably stop him, Hylissang did little more than mitigate damage as his team fell in a final teamfight, resulting in a 36-minute defeat.
Pairs Rakan with Xayah to successfully dismantle Splyce
January 20, 2018
Hylissang earned a 0/2/7 KDA on Rakan in his team's victory over Splyce on Friday.
ANALYSIS
The new addition to Fnatic had a decent performance in his debut showing against Splyce. After a calm laning phase, he excelled in teamfights, locking down key members of the enemy team to allow Fnatic to push forward with ease. Though he died twice in the victory, he was able to create seven kills for his team. Finding picks in back-to-back teamfights, his Rakan play resulted in Fnatic taking a 41-minute victory.
Can't utilize Hexflash
January 20, 2018
Hylissang ended Fnatic's loss to H2k with a 0/3/6 KDA as Shen.
ANALYSIS
Hylissang was involved in six of eight kills as Fnatic dropped an upset loss to H2k during Day 2 of the EU LCS. He finished tied with Caps for the second-highest assist total in the game. Unfortunately, he struggled to make plays in the late game, as H2k outscaled Fnatic en route to a victory.
To sign with Fnatic
November 18, 2017
Hylissang is set to join Fnatic this week, reports Jacob Wolf of ESPN.
ANALYSIS
After playing with Unicorns of Love for his entire League of Legends career, Hylissang looks to be moving on from the organization. With his contract set to expire this Monday, he is eligible to sign when free agency opens on Tuesday. While he negotiated with OpTic Gaming in the NA LCS and contemplated a return to UoL, his desire to play with Rekkles drove his decision to sign with Fnatic.
High death total hurts UoL
August 21, 2017
Hylissang finished UoL's sweep to Misfits with a 0/14/9 combined KDA.
ANALYSIS
Hylissang finished Game 1 with a 0/6/4 KDA as Trundle. He had 100 percent kill participation, but died early and often, leading the game with six deaths. In Game 2, Hylissang ended with a 0/4/3 KDA as Braum. He had an assist on three of five kills, tying Vizicsacsi for the team high. Using Tahm Kench in Game 3, Hylissang ended with a 0/4/2 KDA. He had an assist on only two of five kills, as UoL dropped the final game of the series and bounced out of the playoffs.
Recovers beautifully
August 15, 2017
Hylissang went an overall 3/8/25 as UoL took a 2-1 victory over H2k Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Hylissang went with a strange Annie pick in Game 1, presumably to pair with Samux's Kalista and in an attempt to make up for UoL's horrendous lack of damage. It didn't work; Hylissang micro'd a tower dive terribly to give up first blood, and it was all downhill from there. In Game 2, Hylissang went with another rare pick in Trundle, but made this one work much better. Between UoL's lead and Hylissang's ultimate, H2k's tanks simply couldn't stand up to UoL's damage, and he also landed some solid Pillars of Ice throughout the game. In Game 3, Hylissang really came into his own as the latter half of the Xayah/Rakan duo. He helped his AD carry find first blood in lane, and then went on to secure kill after kill and fight after fight for his team with beautiful engages.
