Shines on Vel'Koz
July 8, 2018
4/2/10 was Deft's KDA at the end of KT's Sunday win over Invictus Gaming.
ANALYSIS
Deft seems to have fully adapted to the flexibility of bot lane in the current meta, as he demonstrated again with his Vel'Koz play in this game. You'd never have known Deft not to be a longtime Vel'Koz main, as his positioning and skillshots were both on point all game long. Particularly impressive was his over-the-wall ultimate onto the majority of Invictus in one of the late-game teamfights. Of Deft's two deaths, one came in the last seconds of the game, and the other in the fight where KT were aced, so both were excusable.
Leads KT with two kills
July 5, 2018
Deft finished KT's win over MAD with a 2/0/1 KDA as Varus.
ANALYSIS
Deft was unkillable, ending the game involved in 100 percetn of KT's kills. His two kills were a team high in what can only be described as a boring game.
Uses Mordekaiser to great effect
June 28, 2018
Deft put up a 6/5/18 KDA in KT Rolster's 2-0 victory against Griffin on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
With Deft being put on Mordekaiser in both games, it was clear that KT wanted him to be a focus of their strategy in this series. While he might have died a few more times that he surely would have liked in Game 2, he still ended up having the impact on the series that he was intended to. His Mordekaiser brought plenty of damage in both games, which was sorely needed as the teamfights ended up being the difference in this series. Most importantly, he picked up game-changing kill late in Game 2 that gave KT a teamfight win and allowed them to turn the game back in their favor.

Head-scratching performance leads to loss
January 18, 2018
Deft finished with a measly KDA of 4/6/2 in KT Rolster's 1-2 loss to Afreeca Freecs on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Deft looked stubborn and out of his element all series long, beginning with his Tristana in Game 1, which didn't do much of anything. Granted, his lane opponent got ahead early on and Afreeca built around that, but Deft was a non-factor for most of Game 1. In KT's only win of the series, Deft did plenty of damage as Varus, but got caught out a few too many times later in the game. KT survived to take a 40-minute win, but it wasn't clean by any means. Finally, in Game 3, Deft brought out the Vayne which initially excited the global audience but quickly turned to head-scratching and Vayne-spotting. With the amount of crowd control that Afreeca brought, it was surprising that Deft didn't get a QSS, routinely getting punished by Kuro's Malzahar, who Nether Grasped him as soon as he came too close. Deft needs to pick up his slack if KT wants to finish high this year since this series was anything but assured for KT fans.

He drew bans on the champion thereafter and was forced onto Sivir and Caitlyn for the remainder of the series. He was less impactful in the final three games, ending the series with a 4/10/6 KDA in KT's three losses. Deft was unable to really make an impact outside of the first two games as Kalista.

Consistent performance throughout victory over JAG
July 12, 2017
Deft earned a series KDA of 11/6/25 in KT's 2-1 series victory.
ANALYSIS
Picking Kog'Maw in Game 1, Deft had a strong performance, albeit not a flashy one. After holding his own in lane, he was able to scale up nicely and dominate in teamfights. Without anyone able to get to him due to his team's shields and protection, he decimated the enemy team time and again, resulting in a convincing 38-minute victory. Game 2 didn't go as well despite Deft playing decently. On Kog'Maw once again, he found a small edge in lane but not much of one. As the game progressed and his team struggled to maintain their advantage, he was singled out and could not deal the necessary damage to dominate the enemy team. As a result, the late-game teamfights went the way of JAG, allowing them to bounce back and claim a 59-minute victory. Deft didn't let this dissuade him as he stormed into the final game with Kalista, dominating lane and never slowing. In his team's nearly perfect game, he earned a 4/0/8 KDA, completely shutting down the enemy lane. Winning back-to-back teamfights, he had no trouble closing out the game in 29 minutes and claiming the series victory 2-1.
