Lands hooks with impunity
August 9, 2017
Five played an MVP caliber series versus NB, picking up a 0/1/20 KDA.
ANALYSIS
In Game 1, Five played Janna and used the arguably overpowered coin into Ardent Censer build, which his positional opponent mimicked with much less success. His Monsoon ultimates were excellently timed to save carries. However, Five really went off in Game 2 on Thresh where he may have landed the best Thresh hooks of the LPL Summer Split. He was seemingly able to see the future as he repeatedly predicted opponents dashes including Rengar's leap and Kassadin's Rift Walk. It was seemingly unfair as he would hook an opponent, allow a teammate to dive and secure the kill, then lantern the teammate out before being bursted down. If the carries didn't actually go off this would 100 percent be categorized as a support carry game.
