Eika: To play for Schalke 04 as sub
May 19, 2016
Eika is listed as a sub for Schalke 04 for the 2016 EU LCS Summer Split.
ANALYSIS
Eika had a mediocre performance in the mid lane for Schalke 04, who were previously known as Elements, during the Spring Split. He finished last in kills and had the most deaths among all mid laners during the split. The team ended the Spring Split in seventh place with a 6-12 record, which get them balancing precariously on the edge of the promotional tournament. Eika will now back up Fox at the mid lane position for Schalke 04.
Eika: Poor first LCS Split
April 21, 2016
Eika ended the 2016 Spring Split with a 33/52/66 KDA as Elements placed seventh.
ANALYSIS
Eika really struggled to make an impact with Elements as he finished the split last in kills and first in deaths amongst mid laners. To put this into perspective, his 33 kills were four less than Ryu despite playing in six more games and only 20 more than xPeke, who played in 15 less games than Eika. Elements were able to hold onto their LCS spot for the 2016 Summer Split, but will need their mid laner to improve if they hope to qualify for the playoffs.
Eika: Eika plays supportive mid lane roll in upset win
March 17, 2016
Eika finished Thursday with a 2/1/3 KDA on Lissandra.
ANALYSIS
Eika was able to farm well early on in the game going even with Febiven in the mid lane. It was the middle game where he was able to make an impact as he used his teleport to help Steve out of a 1-vs-2 gank and split pushed in the side lanes. He was able to set up kills for Elements using his ultimate to lock Fnatic in place as Elements picked up a big win to help secure their spot in the Summer Split.
Eika: Good use of ultimate can't keep his team alive forever
February 25, 2016
Eika ended Thursday's loss to G2 with a 1/2/4 KDA as Zilean.
ANALYSIS
Things got off to a good start for Eika as he farmed well in the middle lane, winning trades with Perkz and going even in CS through 10 minutes. He used his ultimate well throughout the game to keep his allies alive, including preventing G2 from picking up first blood at one point. Unfortunately it wasn't enough as he could only ultimate one person in team fights and eventually Elements were caught out of position and aced, leading to the end of the game.
Eika: Morgana gives mid laner little to work with in loss
February 18, 2016
Eika was unable to make any game-swinging plays on Morgana, finishing 0/2/6 on the control mage during Elements' loss to Origen.
ANALYSIS
Eika played a bland Morgana game, farming evenly in a low pressure lane as PowerOfEvil elected to scale with Varus. Eika could not find engagement opportunities or meaningful Dark Bindings as Origen's team composition had many disengagement options and several members running items to remove debuffs. Eika could not pick up a kill and dealt an unsurprising low amount of damage with Morgana. The strengths of Morgana -- layers of crowd control -- never hit their mark.
