Invictus Gaming
Struggles a bit despite lopsided win
June 20, 2018
JackeyLove managed a 5/7/13 KDA during Invictus Gaming's 2-0 sweep of Vici Gaming on Wednesday.
Invictus Gaming might have easily won these two games in under 60 minutes combined, but it wasn't as though JackeyLove had the easiest of times. His Lucian in Game 1 was fine, but his Draven in Game 2 left a bit to be desired. He finished with just a single kill to five deaths as he struggled to stay alive throughout. He did manage seven assists and the team did win in just 27 minutes, but it's still something to keep an eye on as the Split progresses.
Steps into the spotlight on Pyke
June 20, 2018
Baolan was unkillable during Invictus Gaming's 2-0 sweep of Vici Gaming, tallying an 8/0/13 KDA.
While it's true that Invictus simply did whatever they wanted from start to finish in this series, that makes Baolan's contributions to this series no less impressive. On the powerful Pyke, he absolutely popped off and did things that few supports are normally able to. He started out somewhat subdued with a 2/0/7 KDA in the first game, but once the second got underway, he lit up the Rift. He tied for the most kills in the game (6) while adding in a pile of assists (6) to boot. Invictus might have fallen short of the glory in the Spring playoffs, they look to be on a warpath to get back there this summer.
Obliterates Vici Gaming in sweep
June 20, 2018
Rookie tore through Vici Gaming en route to a 14/5/12 KDA in Invictus Gaming's 2-0 sweep.
Rookie continues to be a shining spot for iG as they begin their redemption tour in an effort to get back into the LPL playoffs. Vici made the mistake of not banning Taliyah in Game 1 and Rookie made them pay with a blistering 10/2/7 KDA in the game. That scoreline was good enough for 77 percent while he tallied just under half of his team's 22 kills in the game. On Lulu in Game 2, he was a bit more subdued, but still managed to outplay his lane counterpart, Easyhoon, as iG picked up an easy 27-minute win.
