Struggles in defeat
August 1, 2018
IgNar earned a series KDA of 0/5/3 over two games on Tahm Kench against Generation G.
ANALYSIS
Throughout his team's series loss, IgNar had an extremely rough performance. He fell behind early in the series and was never able to recover. In Game 1, he had a miserable performance as his team was on the receiving end of a near-perfect game. Giving up half of his team's deaths in the game, he struggled immensely in the defeat. Unable to get things going, the result was a swift defeat. Although IgNar had a better performance in Game 2, it wasn't enough to make up for the rest of his team's performance. With struggles on the entire topside of the map, IgNar could not find a way to bring his team into the game. As a result he was defeated once again, giving up the victory to the enemy team in 34 minutes. As a result bbq fell 0-2 in the series.
Decent showing not enough to claim victory
August 1, 2018
Ghost earned a 2/2/1 KDA in his team's series defeat at the hands of Gen.G.
ANALYSIS
Ghost had a rough start alongside the rest of his team during their defeat against Gen.G. He started off by falling behind early and was never able to recover. Though he could clear waves from a distance, he couldn't do anything else. Try as he might, he couldn't find a single kill or assist in his team's Game 1 defeat. Game 2 went better for Ghost, but he once again failed to find victory. Though he was able to recover from an early game deficit, he could not find a way for his team to come back from an early macro game loss. Ghost played well in teamfights, dealing damage and making it seem as though his team might have a chance to fight back into the game. Unfortunately his team was not playing as well, resulting in another convincing defeat. As a result, BBQ fell 0-2 in the series.
Strong mechnicas not enough for victory
August 1, 2018
Tempt finished his team's 0-2 loss against Gen.G. with a series KDA of 0/1/1.
ANALYSIS
Although Tempt was able to have a decent performance in his team's series against Gen. G., he could not create enough of an impact to claim victory. He started off the series with a strong showing on Corki. Although he was able to find a decent lead for himself in lane, he could not find a kill or opening for the rest of his team. As his team was on the receiving end of a near perfect game, he could not do much but remain deathless in his team's defeat. Game 2 went better for Tempt but once again was not a good one. Picking Zoe, he was able to clear waves from a distance but do little more. As his team fell behind again during the early game, he struggled to find an opening that would bring his team any sort of a positive outcome. Getting strangled out of the game quickly, he was able to do little more but delay his team's loss. After the enemy team claimed a 34-minute victory, his team was defeated in the series 0-2.
Struggles to get going against Gen.G
August 1, 2018
Trick earned a 1/4/2 KDA over two Gragas games against Gen.G.
ANALYSIS
Starting off the series as slow as possible, Trick had a miserable performance against Gen.G. He started off the game unable to do anything in Game 1. During the early game, he gave up every objective imaginable. Unable to control neutral objectives or vision, he continued to disappoint his team by failing to bring his team a single kill or assist. As a result, his team was defeated in swift fashion. Game 2 didn't go much better as Trick once again failed to get anything done in a timely manner. Although he found a single assist early, he failed to control objectives once again. As things continued to get out of hand, he was unable to find a way back in the game. Losing back-to-back fights, Trick and his team was defeated, giving up the series victory 2-0 for Gen.G.
Unable to find a kill in series defeat
August 1, 2018
Crazy earned a series KDA of 0/3/2 during his team's 0-2 defeat against Gen.G.
ANALYSIS
Throughout the entire series against Gen.G, Crazy struggled to find any success at all. Picking to find a lead in lane and roll with it, he was unable to do so in both games. In Game 1 of the series, he picked Gnar but was unable to splitpush his way to success and became nearly useless in teamfights. After being handed a single death, he was quiet for the rest of the game. Giving up a 31-minute victory, he opted to switch things up in Game 2. Opting to go for Rumble, he found himself caught out in the early game to give up an uncontested kill. Once behind, he had no way back into things. Though he dealt decent damage with his ultimate, he could not land it on multiple members of the enemy team. As a result, the enemy team ran away with the game, securing a 34-minute victory and closing out the series 2-0.
