Clutch Ana performance
February 25, 2018
Rawkus was on fire in a 4-0 trouncing of the Boston Uprising on Saturday.
Rawkus played a somewhat niche support hero in Ana in the first match of the series. This was apparently in anticipation of Gamsu on Winston overextending, which he is known for. The Ana anti-healing grenades completely stomped the Uprising offensive and rendered their aggressive Moira play useless. Rawkus continues to delight players with his expert mechanics and deep understanding of the meta.
Blasts Boston in win

Rawkus was a lethal force on the Houston Outlaws in the 3-2 victory over the Boston Uprising on Saturday.
Rawkus was not going to go down without a fight on every map. He's always been aggressive, but Saturday it was like somebody lit a flame underneath him. Responding to the ebb and flow of a battle, Rawkus put himself in a position so that his Zenyatta could take out a member of Uprising. Sometimes this was pushing up past his teammates, but other times it was waiting in a spot for the Uprising to come to him. Understanding this flow, and using it to your advantage, marks the difference between good and great Zenyatta players.
Tries a variety of supports

Rawkus' flexibility clutched a handful of maps in a 2-3 loss to Philadelphia Fusion on Day 2 of Week 1 of the Overwatch Season 1.
Philadelphia Fusion's aggression forced Rawkus into a series of strange positions as a support, but Rawkus did exceedingly well considering the circumstances, while also crippling Fusion. Rawkus' Zenyatta was still a force to be reckoned with despite being constantly dived by Fusion's Genji and Tracer. In one instance, Rawkus was able to even kill an ulting Genji. Where Rawkus really shined, though, was on Horizon Lunar Colony. After a strong defense, Rawkus took up Sombra for Outlaws' offense. Spending the first point farming and hacking health packs for his ultimate charge, Rawkus was able to flank Fusion's backline with an EMP ultimate in the last instance. The surprise ultimate easily allowed the Outlaws to jump in and secure the first point.
