No longer with the Valiant
September 7, 2018
Verbo was released by the Los Angeles Valiant on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Making just a few appearances during the inaugural season of the Overwatch League, Verbo is now on the hunt for a new team heading into Season 2. Verbo will certainly need to work on his hero pool if he wants to turn some heads and find his way back into the OWL. While he's a solid Lucio player, that alone won't be enough to get many looks in what is sure to be a rat race with the introduction of eight new teams for Season 2.
Makes surprise showing
May 20, 2018
Verbo played in the final game of the Los Angeles Valiant's 3-1 win over the Shanghai Dragons on Saturday. ,
ANALYSIS
With the series already secured at a 3-0 scoreline, the Valiant decided to put in their b-team to get them some experience. It did not go very well. While Verbo is certainly not as bad as this performance led on, it was clear that him, KSF and Numlocked haven't had much time to get on the same page. Still, getting trounced by the Dragons wasn't the greatest showing for the trio.
Newcomer performs excellently
February 1, 2018
Verbo cradled the Los Angeles Valiant in its 4-0 victory against the Philadelphia Fusion in Week 4 of Stage 1 in the OWL.
ANALYSIS
Verbo came in for Unkoe who was unable to step on-stage. People were skeptical of this newcomer, but he showed he deserved to sit up there. Verbo showed this through outlasting Neptuno's Mercy to gain an upper hand Valkyrie or darting around being annoying as possible to Fragi's Winston. If Unkoe is ever out again, it's clear that Verbo is a more-than-capable substitute.
