Pops off all throughout sweep
February 25, 2018
Fate made great use of his tank heroes in this 3-0 sweep over the Shanghai Dragons on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Playing a healthy mix of Winston and Reinhardt in this series, Fate was a crucial part of his team's win on Saturday. He started off with his Winston playing the lynchpin of Los Angeles' dive composition in the early matches. He did have one rough moment where he Primal Rage'd and jumped right off the side of the map on Hanamura, but that was but a blip on the radar in an overall strong performance from Fate. He closed out the series with some stellar Reinhardt play that kept the Dragons winless.
Shows off a new side against Dragons
February 25, 2018
Kariv took the stage as a DPS player for the Los Angeles Valiant in their 3-0 sweep of the Shanghai Dragons on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
After a trouncing at the hands of Seoul on Wednesday, the Valiant decided to diversify their game in this series. That translated into a unique three support lineup for the team. Kariv was out there playing heroes like Widowmaker and Genjim, which allowed Soon to stay on Tracer for the entirety of the series. This paid off in spades for this team as they ran roughshod over the Dragons for the better part of two hours. While the Dragons did manage to bring the opening game to a draw, the Valiant were on top of things in the rest of the series to pick up the win and keep Shanghai winless.
Bounces back in a major way
February 25, 2018
Soon was back to his usual self in the Los Angeles Valiant's 3-0 sweep of the Shanghai Dragons on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
After a muddled performance against Seoul on Wednesday, Soon was back on top of his game in this series. With Kariv coming to take on Widowmaker and Soldier: 76 duties, Soon was free to run rampant on Tracer. As always, he was electric with the hero, weaving in and out of the enemy backline with ease. His ultimate use was also impeccable, landing multi-kills like nobody's business. When he and the rest of his team are playing like this, the Valiant are a hard team to beat.
Rough time against the Dynasty
February 24, 2018
Soon had trouble against Seoul as they defeated his Los Angeles Valiant squad 4-0 on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Soon, who is usually top tier, suffered against the Dynasty's high speed assault. He was whiffing ultimates and couldn't dole out enough damage to snag backline picks. On top of all that, Seoul had two of the most elusive support combinations in the game, making it that much harder for an already struggling Soon.
Plays from start to finish
February 24, 2018
Agilities never left the stage in the Los Angeles Valiants 4-0 loss to the Seoul Dynasty on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Agilities is the usual starter for the Valiant but is often subbed out for Ted "Silkthread" Wang on certain maps. As the Valiant struggle to find their place in a new meta it seems they are looking for stability from Agilities.
